Queen-sized beds at Caribbean Beach?

We recently switched our reservation from Coronado Springs to Caribbean Beach after, among other things, my wife heard that CBR now has queen-sized beds. Unfortunately, she does not remember where she heard this, and what I'm seeing on the WDW site is that they are still limited to double beds in all non-king rooms.

Does anyone have any first-hand insight that can help us out?

This site implies that the rooms were refurbished recently to replace the old beds with queen beds:

If the YFV article is correct, does anyone know if this affected all rooms, or just some of them?

The Disney website still says full beds (doubles) because the renovation is not complete and if you are going before the end of May there is still a chance you would be given a room with full beds. Once they are done they should be changing the website.

Pirate rooms are not part of this renovation, still have full beds, but a permit has been filed to rehab them, but know one knows the plan.

This certainly confuses things. A reply to the other thread on this topic said only the Pirate Rooms HAVEN'T been upgraded to queens

Awesome news! I'm pretty excited about staying at CBR for the first time, but full beds would have been a deal-breaker. Great to know.

Seriously, never call reservations and ask them a question like this...they are wrong more often than they are right! Just look on the Dis.
