The movie was awesome. I laughed, and I cried. There might have been 20 people in the theater, which surprised me. There were only 3 kids in all of those people.

I'm hoping to go Tuesday.

I've already rewatched part 1 and the original Wizard of Oz, and I think I'll take your cue and do my nails .

Mona I hope your floor installation issues get resolved. I agree with Pea that maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

Good Morning. I have been out running around doing grocery stopping at Wegman's at 6:30 and now hope to not have to go to a store until after Thanksgiving. I went to Target and Dollar Tree to pick up Christmas candy on sale at Target and get the Pez that I always get the grandkids. Target has a good price on those. Dollar tree I got gift bags, tissue paper, cookie tins, etc. I hope to be done soon. Just have Kenny and Jeff left. I get each family Museum of Science passes and those are all set. I am tired now. Still need to drive to Jeff's to see everyone and then back again. I am glad supper is leftovers.

Today is Toto’s birthday. He is 12!

Here he is tethered here to G so he can’t run off into the woods chasing chipmunks! It is really funny watching them run and sniff being attached to one another, it makes me laugh! G stays close and won’t let him go anywhere he’s not supposed to go - good boy, G!

It's kind of like that was for Sleeping Beauty - how did the villain in the Wizard of Oz come to be who she was?

The first half was backstory, and this half will run into the 1938 movie, and kind of show it from the other side.

Oh, like a prequel? Thanks for explaining. I did not see Maleficent and didn’t realize those movies were related.

We really enjoyed the prequel to Outlander this fall, Blood of My Blood, and can’t wait for the next installment.

'Kind of' is an understatement, there was really very little related to the original in this second part.

Pea, it's the story of how Elphaba came to be known as the Wicked Witch of the West, but deep inside she's not really wicked. It's mostly a story about her friendship with Glinda.
