Meanwhile had to go to Lowe's. The same item is 14.99 at Lowe's.

They've stopped sending the weekly flyers around here, and I forget to look for their stuff online. Happened to run in for a few veggies and saw the towers and cages. The cages were a lot cheaper at 2.99, but I'm hoping the coated ones will last longer. They are also nicer looking. I got some red and some lime green ones.

Good morning. It is raining here right now and maybe some thunderstorms coming in. Temps near 70. I talked with my NH friend yesterday and we are both looking forward to our cruise. I told her I need to get away and so happy we travel together once a year, more if I plan a getaway to NH. I am not sure if my MA friend, her friend, and I will be going to Sedona in Nov. Her friend is dealing with some serious health issues so we are waiting to see how it goes. We will make the decision before final payment.

Good morning! I am happy to say that I am feeling well enough to travel up to New Hampshire for our oldest Granddaughter’s graduation from St Anselm’s college in Manchester! We’ll be leaving a bit later. We are having our downstairs carpets cleaned, and once the work is finished, we will leave.

Megan’s sister, Maura will be coming home from a semester in Italy this weekend, and we’ll be seeing her as well.

Good morning. Cloudy now, but they say it will clear up and be 81. I hope it dries out enough to mow. Chance of storms overnight and another chance of rain tomorrow. It was still a little too wet to mow yesterday. It misted on and off all morning. I came home the long way to see what was left of the storm damage. All the water was gone, but there was brush and trash all over the roads and in business parking lots. I stopped at McD's to get a drink and I could hear rushing water. I walked to the back of their lot and the water was just rushing through the huge creek that runs behind all the businesses on that side of the street. Farther down where it's all residential, there wasn't any sign that the high waters hadn't gotten that far.
@easyas123 They had to evacuate that school, and rescued students and teachers by boat. They said the water level reached the second floor of the school. Westernport is still pretty much a lake. Going to take awhile for them to recover.

Summer didn't get home until 8 last night but texted me when she left TN with video's from Gracie who was home alone and they took on a lot of water. Not only outside, but in the basement too. Gracie filmed herself trying to get to the sump pump through almost a foot of water, she was afraid she was going to encounter a snake, lol. Their house isn't too far from a large pond and my guess is their lawn got so soaked it found any way in that it could.

No plans for the day until it dries out, then I'll be busy. I put laundry in while I was waiting

Good morning dear Quacker family and happy Thursday. I feel chilly right now, grateful for blankets. Later this morning I have a very brief (I think all residents got the same notice) care meeting to go to. Whoever runs it just wants to know any suggestions or concerns I have. God willing dad will get a call later from Sonia and that will give us a better idea of when I should be home.

Those of you with rainy weather please stay dry and safe. Be careful out there! Dear Snowysmom, it does bring me a thankful extra smile to God that you have your two ttips with close friends. Prayers for your friend's friend.

That’s great news, Bobbi! Enjoy your time in New England! Just wanted to add to make sure you stay really well hydrated and stop frequently to get out and walk around! One of the best rest stops in NH is just over the MA border The Common Man! I love going there myself, you can get a bite to eat there and probably some fun trinkets. Have fun!

I have been quite sick for about a week. My oncologist is starting me on antibiotics today.
