Good Morning. It is 17 degrees with highs expected in the upper 30s.

Offer is signed on the condo, due a noon today. My agent tells me the listing agent said he will be getting more offers than he expected. I put in my best offer but it is most likely not going to be enough. Oh well on to the next condo.

Here in Cape May it’s 28° and I have podiatrist and physical therapy on my shoulder today.

I plan to make chili, cornbread and make two meals for charity. DH will be delivering the meals from the church freezer on Thursday.

Good morning. It's a brisk 18 degrees outside, going to mid 40's. Wish the weather would make up its mind. Going to be 70 with heavy thunderstorms on Thursday, then back to 40's. Today is one of our grandsons 22'nd. Where does the time fly to.? I had just moved here in 2000 and he was born 11 days later. He was small and scrawny, and he's still on the small side,at least he outgrew the scrawny, lol!

Watched American Idol last nite, wow are there a lot of young (16-17-18) kids with great voices this year. Lots of older ones with great voices also.

Off to make grocery list, gather trash and wait for Mr L to wake up so I can vacuum and wash the floors..

@footballmouse have you seen The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds on Netflix? DH and I watched it last weekend and it was really good. He is so funny

That is on my list to watch Friday night at work. I'm glad to hear that it's good. I've been a fan of Ryan Reynolds after I watched The Proposal.

QOTD: I do not like cold pizza. I love pizza, when it's hot. When I was younger, I had no problem eating cold pizza, actually enjoyed it, but not anymore. I don't mind heating pizza up from the day before, but only if I take the time to heat it up in the oven. Reheated pizza in the microwave is horrible.

Forgot my glasses this morning so I'm kind of typing this blind. I'll run down to the gift shop at work when it opens to buy a pair of readers but that's not until 9:00. I guess I'll go back to the storage closet and organize the supply cabinet since I can't read anything. That was on my list to do this week anyway.

Made BBQ chicken and some mixed veggies last night. Ds3 asked if I could make it last night so that he could take it for lunch today. At least dinner is already made for tonight when I get home.

That's about it from me, my eyes are actually starting to hurt from straining. Have a great day.

DD sent some great pictures last night. For whatever reason, Tessa had Paisley on her(Tessa's) bed completely covered with stuffed animals. That dog is so tolerant.

Church shift today then yoga tonight. Then the boards are down. See you when I see you.

I could not believe how cold it was yesterday! Wind chill was very low I heard on the news. I had to shop and get gas, etc. Was cold the rest of the night! We made steaks with teriyaki marinade, butternut squash and smashed potato/Brussels sprout mixture after shopping, didn’t sit down till Jeopardy.

It's cold here for me again but thankfully dry Dad is out doing laundry and then going to Ralph's and the post office. I could have put my warmer blanket on the bed last night. I just might tonight. It is supposed to warm up thankfully throughout the week.

Snowysmom, you gave your best offer and that 's all you can do. Prayers the owner just might surprise you. If not, absolutely there will be other condos, my friend.

Happy Tuesday...DH and I are off to our Drs office. I need bloodwork and he needs his vaccine card updated with his booster for our cruise. He couldn't find it when he got the booster and they told him to bring it back when he found it. Then we'll probably go to lunch(I've been fasting for the bloowork and I'm starving...lol) and stop at Target or Walmart to pick up some last minute things for the cruise. Tomorrow we're getting tested and I'll grocery shop for DD for the weekend.

Last night we had stroganoff for dinner and I made a funfetti cake with whipped cream frosting for dessert(store bought in the little containers and it was really good, not too sweet like the other flavors). DD had bought this cake mix when we were out of town but never made it so I decided I'd make it since DHs birthday is Thursday and we'll be leaving that day to start our trip.

Hope you all have a great day rest of your day. Not sure if I'll be back on before the boards go down for maintenance so I'll see you all when it's back up.

As long as the rain holds off this morning, it looks like grass cutting season will be starting for me later today. It's supposed to get up to 78 today but expecting some horrible wind. This looks to be the best (and only) day to cut the grass, tomorrow back in the 40's.

If you can spare a prayer or 2, stepdaughter's surgery starts at 10 today on her shoulder, should take about 4 hours. Her Mom drove up from Myrtle Beach to take her, and then stay with them for 3 days.

Trash is out, cats are fed, waiting for the freezing rain to end by 9, then will be off to do errands

I was hesitant to get on this morning after the upgrade - picturing having to search for my password and re-log in, etc., but it seems to have gone through much better than the last one. Tool bar looks a bit different, but everything I've used has worked so far.

I think my computer must be updating because it's making background noise. I was trying to open the smilies and like last night all it said was "downloading images." Do they work for any of you, I hope? I'll check, of course, later.

Dad has gone off into the valley on various errands. It makes me feel good and what an extra blessing to get to do thanks to the Good Lord of course always and also help from dad, to be able to donate some items and get a few dollars back in store credit, too. Dad will be returning some time of month unopened packages to Rite Aid and Target for either store credit or money back, we're not yet sure but will gratefully take either! He's also going to drop off at my old/current for now church, a donation bag for the feeding in the park/homeless ministry. One additional bag for my friend Glenda with some art supplies for her grand daughter. Terri's coming by this weekend and I'll give her a bag to bring to a homeless shelter (she has other stuff already to bring so I'm not imposing an extra trip on her which I would not care to do, of course). I'll be saving one extra pink backpack, God-willing one day to be used for Smile Squad! It'll have some extra stationary supplies such as colored pencils along with maybe 20 sheets of colored cardstock (for a start) and a few sticker sheets, again just a good starting place. It will also have two small bags of plastic Easter eggs which were one of my very last in store purchases at a 99 Cent Only Store in 2020. I had gotten them intending to use them with kids that Spring or even Summer. I will continue to pray on it. For now, I do feel peace that my having one carefully thought out backpack with just a handful of supplies in my closet that I pray will get to be used within the next year is okay. If it is not used within that time then it will happily be donated

Footballmouse, I am so not a fan of the wind at all! please stay warm!

Hug, Lynn, and of, course, big prayers to your stepdaughter! And for you, too, as it is never easy to know a loved one is at the hospital for any reason let alone surgery.
