Good evening friends
I've had a nice Sunday. I got to text with a few friends while trying to stay warm on the couch. For me, it's cold in here again! So looking forward to the

mid week! I also watched a new (to me) predictable yet very sweet Hallmark movie that I had recorded last night called
Second Chances It reminded me a little of
Holly and Ivy from Christmastime. In Second Chances, the two young kids read to seniors living in an assisted living home to earn money for their single mom. In Holly and Ivy, Melody the kindhearted lady who adopts her friends daughters (when the friend dies, I think from Cancer

) starts a Bookmobile to bring books to those in need.
I posted back in December how much I loved that idea and thought it could be part of the Smile Squad ministry idea God truly keeps growing in my heart either for one day at my current church post pandemic or perhaps at a new one. Today's movie added to that with the thought of how cool it would be to have a Stories and Scripture program where church kids could share a book or story either with an elderly congregant or perhaps someone in assisted living. Perhaps part of the time could besides a time of prayer include time to discuss favorite scripture or maybe that current week's church scripture of Sunday school lesson. An extra way of connecting hearts and to one another as they also grow in faith to God.
God Bless you, Allison! That is so cool you sang as part of your church worship team and helped with the babies, too. You made a difference all-around
Thank you again, Carol, for extending the invitation to all of us. I am truly thankful you got to enjoy such a Blessed day with church and family.
Hug, Easyas, again I am so glad you got to visit with your youngest. I so agree how nice it is to read stories of being getting to see one another and family a bit more!
Just

Taz Dev, I'm so sorry

Yay that you took care today and relaxed!
Wishing all of you a cozy night.
