Frog and thank you so much. I definitely believe the dentist from yesterday can still work out. I appreciated so much his willingness to listen and work with me. It's also a blessing indeed to have some options to look into. Please stay out of the wind and be warm! Should you feel restful, take a rest, my friend! I'm sorry you were disappointed in the fries. That's sad about the mom-and-pop restaurant. This plague has really done a number on small businesses

I agree about AuntieMe3's found dog! He was so cute, and I would have been sad to let him go, too. I hope he has been happily reunited with his family.
Snowysmom it is sad that a lot of developers feel the need to bulldoze perfectly lovely older homes that most likely have housed many families over the years in favor of yet another huge, fancier, building. I pray the next place you check out will feel much more like home and just might be where you end up as well.

Carol, love the blanket. What a beautiful and thoughtful gift for the new baby, you made with love.
I forgot to post this earlier. I've been praying about the book project I'm working on. I do thank all of you for your love, encouragement, and stories from those of you who have written or are finishing up writing. Of course, huge thanks also to my Quacker family for assisting with some editing, title ideas and of course, pictures both taken and drawn. Appreciate all of you, always, so very much and to have you be part of this book which is so dear to me because I absolutely pray it is already bringing God glory and will continue to do so! All for Him, always. He has graced this undertaking also with connecting so many hearts together from 40's to 98! By His Grace, it is growing. I pray by the end of the year it just might be ready for the next step.
I have been keeping the entire book in prayers from the get-go, extra as it grows. I have been especially praying on how to grow the book itself. The more faithful voices contributing the more witness spread and the more hearts connected to one another and most of all to His. And I pray the added peace to more hearts. I know some of you dear Quackers have wanted to write but perhaps felt writing wasn't a strong suit of yours (though remember there is never any one way to share with God) or that whatever you might write would potentially be too personal. I have tried to make privacy of all a top priority throughout this and will continue to do so. All that said, God helped put in my heart a few nights ago the idea that wait a minute, there might be another way for Quackers (and others) to join in that would be easier yet just as meaningful and special to me because it would be from YOU. In fact, every day most all of you do this anyway

By that I mean, you share so lovingly so every day small moments of love, laughter, and fun. Snowysmom, your recent picture of the squirrel on the bird feeder brought many of us a smile and cheer along with extra gratitude to God for in that moment (I pray) bringing a balm of laughter and comfort to you! In a smiliar critter fashion, PollyannaMom, as you and all Quakcers know, I am dog person all the way. However, reading tails of the escapades of your cats especially the image of one on a leash wanting a walk is priceless. I absolutely know anyone that might come upon you two would have their heart and day lifted by the sight.
Look over some of your most recent pictures. Then think about the moment captured in them. Could a couple sentences go beneath the image as a caption. I could include a picture of the heart-shaped pancakes. Write below that making them with my dad on Valentine's day was indeed a tasty way to start the morning that brought a smile to us both (and I pay each of you, as well) to see! That extra time of fun we shared was truly, extra because it was food, another time of communion with God. An added Monday connection to Him and, of course, another reminder of how beyond blessed we are to have this time from Him together.
Or I was remembering recently (I posted this, I believe) about a dinner I had years ago with some elderly friends who I had met through the small-town caregiver support group we were a part of. At that meal, besides, gracing me with catching up with friends, God also reminded me that He was at our table, too! And that in spirit so was my grandma to who I joined this group to begin with in hopes of being a better caregiver to! The others were chattering away when the oldest lady among us, in her 90's, Mary, who I was closer to, reached over and clasped my hand. Grandma's voice in Mary spoke, "I'm so glad you're here, my Mona. That we're together." No one other than my beloved grandma ever called me before or since "My" (as in theirs). A heartfelt reminder to me that I am His! He was there and by His mercy and love, my grandma was there, too. I no longer have a picture of those friends from our dinner. I could include a picture of my heart-shaped plate (just occurred to me or draw hearts on a plate)
Think/about pray about this and PM or email me if you would like to share or have an idea to include. Could absolutely be a picture followed by 2 sentences! Simple and not much time required. Truly just an invitation with appreciation and love to all of you! A title wouldn't even necessarily be necessary. I see these moments as potentially interludes between stories or longer experience shares a way to connect everything together. What do you all think? Thanks for reading all this, too!
AuntieMe3, have a great rest of the afternoon. To our Quacker family back east, have a good evening! Be cozy. I'll check back once more later.
