Watching Gov. Hogan again.
Listening here, keeping fingers crossed....
CFA peppermint chip milkshake.
I DID NOT know this was a thing! hmmmmmm
Flyingdumbo - for what it is worth we have a Vizio TV and sometimes it acts up. I'll turn it off but it won't turn off completely. Sometimes the screen just goes blue, sometimes it'll turn off completely.
So I heard of something new (to me)today, a stuffing waffle. Looks like what you do is take your leftover stuffing, glop it in a waffle iron and cook it like a waffle, then you take your leftover turkey/veggies/potatoes/cranberry sauce or whatever your poison is, and put it on top of the waffle. Top with gravy if that is your thing. I'm seriously contemplating this Thanksgiving weekend!
Glop is a highly technical chefs technique if you aren't familiar with it.
The persnickety pup in our house has a wound of sorts on one of his toes/toenails. No doubt picked up during one of his jaunts thru the woods/barns. Problem is does does not tolerate anyone touching his feet, under any circumstances. He allowed me to take a close look though, and snuck into bed with me last night before my husband came to bed, to burrow under my shoulder, which he only does when he doesn't feel good or my husband isn't home and he has to protect his side of the bed

- so it was definitely bothering him. We'll watch it, and him for the next day or so. Hopefully he'll let me put some antibiotic ointment on it later - if there is cheese involved of course!
Youngest has his official start date for his next Army assignment, and he'll be moving out sometime during the first week of December - he already has an apartment over between DC & Baltimore, but has been staying at the house because he's been picking up some hours at our shop to supplement his income and spend some time hunting with this brother & father. I expect to see him most weekends and over the Christmas holidays but after that I think he will try to get a steady work-life-living routine down over there for the next year. Fortunate to have him so close to home, although I suspect in the next few years he may find himself much further away, possibly out of any area his parents can visit!
Dinner this evening is going to be grilled boneless chicken thighs w/ ???? I have no idea. A salad, maybe some rice? We will see what the pantry has in it. I'm going to work on my Thanksgiving list(s) and menu, start fine tuning things. I could be cooking for 2 or 25 and I'd still have lists upon lists.
I have a Dr. appt. up near our Costco (45 + minutes away) tomorrow afternoon, so I may make a pit stop there. I still need to get my hands a ham for next week.
Windy, chilly here. I hope the dogs have a fire going when I get home!
