Judique, I hope you are doing ok after your fall and your cheek is healing. Wowsa, that must’ve hurt! I was looking at some trucks with my brother (for him) and the prices for new were pretty shocking. He’s been looking for a while he has some specifics he needs and they don’t really make that type anymore. He’s out of state so we were looking in my area online together. I’m glad I don’t have to buy anything right now.
Hello to all, caught up on all your posts. Glad everyone’s well. Nice trips in the works. Mona, glad you’re moving better now! Snowysmom, what do you like about the new counselor?
Lynn, your meals sound good, and yours SM - would you mind sharing your pasta fagioli recipe? This week we also made meatloaf with carrots and mashed and a cheesy pasta with roasted vegetables and grilled chicken - DD’s boyfriend really loved that.
We had the week off for our birthdays, and we got a lot of work done. Downstairs is just about done now, and looks good, really purged and organized. The apt is getting emptied out, all the cabinets are down and old stove taken out. Furniture out, curtains down. Still have some cleaning to do. We were able to move the treadmill and all the food and drinks down to our side now, all in new containers on shelving we already had. So a working week but in a good way. Also met with our estate planning attorney to update our wills and put the house in a revocable trust. We weren’t planning to do the latter right now but our lawyer is retiring and he said it would be fairly easy to do with our wills, so we bit the bullet and glad we did. DH is contemplating retiring so we’re trying to get all our ducks in a row. He already has a part time job lined up in his industry that he wants to do for fun, and will give him something to do. The owner of that business has been trying to recruit him for years, he’s an old family friend.
Everyone is good. DS got his 50 mile solo done last week and he has another next week. He was so happy! DD is doing well in her new job, a little overwhelming but getting used to it. She’s really excited about moving into the apt when done.
Puppies are good. Toto got a clean bill of health, was happy since he’ll be 11 soon. Grady is happy, too, has really mellowed out. He is so excited when one of us comes home. DS comes over a couple of times a week and he’s so glad to see him. He often has their dog with him but the three dogs get along well. DS is an early bird so sometimes I wake up by his dog jumping up on my bed and licking me in my face! She’s so funny, she has a big underbite, so the teeth crack me up! G sometimes doesn’t like all the excitement so he’ll go back inside.

. I bought drawer dividers, closet dividers, and hangers. Hopefully Bailey doesn't get mad and I hope I'm not over-stepping but it needs to be organized.
