Fingers crossed it goes super-smoothly! My aunt just had cataract surgery recently, and is very happy with it.

Good Tuesday Morning.

I was off yesterday from one job but worked the holiday at my other job, plus it was my required weekend so no day off for me. No big deal, I'm off this coming weekend and I have Mia on Saturday so we'll have fun then.

We got some rain Saturday morning , not sure if it was a storm or not, I couldn't hear anything being in the hospital. Sunday night we had a bad storm come through during the night, I had no idea until I was driving into work and saw branches down in people's yards. The dogs and I slept through it.

I'm leaving work a little early today to go to the hair study I'm on. I'll probably get home around the same time so I'm going to try to get the backyard cleaned up and all the wild critters fed . Fingers crossed my grass guy comes tomorrow. It might rain tonight so it would be better if he came today but I feel bad if the back yard isn't poop-free.

Met up with Evan and Mia for a quick dinner Saturday night after work. We always go to the chili parlor for dinner and Mia prefers to use her fingers to eat the speghetti, chili, and cheese so her hands and face are a mess . Then she decides to play peek-a-boo with me and instead of covering her eyes, she puts her hands on top of her head . Now she has her face, hands, and hair a mess. She's a nut!

Awesome job again! As you remember, blurry vision and scratchy eye is normal. See you tomorrow Dr. Russ

We are home. Our new dog Walker/house watcher when we are away, Jojo, walked Gus, and will do so for two more days!

Good morning. It is in the 60s now and heading into the upper 70s. I was supposed to receive my title yesterday as it was sent out Fri for overnight delivery. That means that with the holiday it should have been here by last evening. I will call again today to get a tracking number. They did not have it yesterday. If I get it today I will go to the registry tomorrow as I am already in the area for work. Other than waiting for the document I did walk yesterday. I made some chicken for dinner along with broccoli as well made a chicken quesadilla for the next 2 nights. I am not big on cooking for myself but I made the effort.

Good morning all! handyman/painter guy should be arriving around 9am and usually stays until almost 6. Long day for me which includes a 4:30 dr's appt.

Home fix up is moving along nicely. Still too much confusion for me with stuff everywhere. I did unload a boatload of towels on my Vet's office and they were grateful. That emptied a couple of shelves. Still have other bath linens such as mats, shower curtains. I think I have maybe a dozen shower curtains for the one bathroom. The other bath takes a door. I do change them out often but I think I need to whittle it down to about half. Summer, fall, Halloween/thanksgiving, Xmas, winter, cherry blossom spring - that would be 6ish. Almost all mats are white and the towels varied. But for a little house, too too much!

The sheet sets are another matter. I've ordered new sets for my room and the small room. Same sets. I've received one set and like them, so may do a couple more. Then send anything useable to the thrift shop. The rest can be drop cloths for the rest of my painting making it easier to toss after.

I never really realized that 'fabric' was taking up so much storage space until I dragged it all together. I had stored a lot in the basement. I have 4 actual beds (one upstairs, 2 main level, one in the basement). It really got out of hand. Already getting better. I guess it was 'busy busy and out of sight out of mind'.

Got email from DN yesterday about next years trip. They are doing 2 weeks, with the first week sharing my villa. She said she's booking my room for the 2nd week since I've been so generous booking the first week. I did intend to book maybe 4 days at the same hotel using my hotel points (not cash!!) so this was a nice surprise. There had been talk of sharing a house prior. We will see as time goes on, especially as they move towards retirement.

Meanwhile, vet bills for dog. Yesterday was $400 after all tests and bloodwork. The cats are up to date so he got more attention. Then they started with prices for grooming, nail grind and teeth cleaning. More care for him than me! I'll do hair cuttery for a quick trim, and he needs about $220 for coat and nails. The teeth are high- over 700 for cleaning. Yikes! Any extractions are extra. I'm half expecting them to suggest implants j/k!

Good Morning

Did my hair study yesterday, quick 15 minutes. 2 more appointments for that study. Doing a taste test today, not sure what I'm tasting. I'm headed to the Reds game this afternoon so my taste test money will pay for parking.

It's supposed to rain this afternoon so hopefully I remember to grab my umbrella when I head out for the game.

Got out and walked when I got home, then cleaned up the yard and fed the animals.

Need to get some work done, short day today. Have a great day!

It was sunny when I got up, it's clouded over and going to rain anytime. I'm going to get myself out to do errands now before I get caught in storms later.
I had another night where I couldn't fall asleep, well after 3 am. And then I wake up at 6:40. Went back to sleep, but woke up every 20 minutes so decided the heck with it and got up. Trash is at the street, all cats are fed, bird feeders filled.

Jumping in for a quick shower and then getting out the door.

Good morning …it’s in the lower 60’s this morning, and feels a bit chilly. Still, we had rain during the night and things smell fresh!

My sleep, according to the CPAP machine was 99 last night, so I guess I’m getting the hang of it…I feel good this morning, so, I think it’s working! I have a meet with the machine people tomorrow, I’m at the two week usage point.

The city has road work done and there’s a detour past our house, so, even going out on the street on my bike is a challenge…

Heat pump person coming today. Shop Rite has lobsters on sale…thinking I may have one today!

Happy Friday Eve,

Temperatures have been great this week. We haven't gotten any rain (even though its been predicted) and I've been able to open the windows all week. Not great if you were planning to swim, hopefully it will get hot again next week, I have a pool day planned with my sisters.

Went to the baseball game yesteray, unfortunately we didn't win but we had fun . I went with some coworkers and my boss (the one I like). He's leaving the department next week so we toasted him with a shot of whiskey. Wow, that is not too smooth going down, now I know why I usually stick to beer.

Got home and watched my YouTube vlogs. A couple of the Disney guys I follow are on a Virgin cruise. Virgin is adults only but I think it's more for a young crowd, a little too wild for me.

There must be something going on with flowers this year! - DH and I were just remarking on the same thing regarding our rose bush - always yellow in the past, but the first bud this time was a deep orange. Hmmm....

I agree. I've had 2 Columbine plants on the side of the shed for years and years. This year, all of a sudden they started to spread and I have at least 10. And my light purple lilacs, this year one of the bushes produced flowers that were a darker shade of purple, it was the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

Good morning. It dumped down rain last night, but it's sunny and nice today. Temps will be in the low 70's. I can look out and see that the grass hasn't grown much in the last couple of days. We're supposed to have good weather until Tuesday.

Did groceries and errands yesterday. Made it home just before it started storming. Stores were fairly empty, which made it nice. I'm seeing a lot of empty shelves in Aldi's and Walmart again, I wonder why.

I got a group FB message last night that Don's Florida brother and sister are passing through on their way home from Maine visiting her mother. So my other SIL is planning a 'family reunion', on July 3. Who plans something like that on a holiday weekend. And at night, none the less.

Just finished dusting, now I have to vacuum and put a load of towels in, so I'm going to get moving.
