Quality of Bedding and Beds between resorts

still new to DVC, but was wondering if all of the mattresses and linens are equal between all DVC properties or if say VGF mattress is higher end than say Poly or BWV. Same question with Murphy beds and and sleeper sofas do some of the resorts have a superior sleep setup than others

Well, This past year I have stayed at SSR, AKV, BLT and BWV. Although I prefer a firm bed and found none of them to be firm, the only bed that I completely sunk into and complained about was at SSR. They actually had no problem replacing the mattress while I was out that day with a "new" one. I'm not sure it was new but it had more support.
I am 5'6" and have slept comfortably on the Murphy bed which does feel firmer than the beds. I can't remember which resorts had the best sleeper sofas. I have liked some better than others and sleeper sofas has been discussed on the boards before.

I would say the 'quality' is the same...but as things get changed out at different times you may have newer/better mattresses/sofa beds at newly renovated resorts vs. resorts that haven't been renovated for a while. My kids have slept on the sofa beds at multiple resorts, and we disliked the quality at SSR this November the most...completely different style from the ones at Polynesian (4/18) and BWV (10/17). SSR had the sofa bed in 3 fragments, I believe Poly/BWV had it as 1 solid piece. Of course having said that, my kids sleep fine on all of them...

I slept on the sofa bed in October at SSR. it was horrible. Each part of the 3 parts seemed to have a different hardness. The middle section was like concrete.

The beds wear out and sometimes they need to be replaced. I would contact housekeeping if the bed is unacceptable. SSR is due for a complete refurb next year. Maybe the manager there is holding off on replacing beds until then.

I forgot to mention that all of the WDW DVC resorts have similar bedding and towels, but Aulani that large oversized and better quality towels. Something like you would expect to have in a deluxe non Disney resort. The DVC towels are better than the moderates but not really deluxe quality are somewhat smaller than I expected The sheets seem to be the same in every DVC resort.

All DVC resorts are have new pillows being replaced so there will be a two soft and two firm pillows. We are at AKV Kidani Village and it appears we have the two types of firmness.
