Quality Inn on Manchester

Has anyone stayed here? Just wondering if it's a decent place. I need a cheap but clean place to stay for an unexpected trip there next month.

I have stayed there many times. its not a 4 star hotel, but rooms are clean, and the staff is great. Small fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the rooms. short walk to the park, free breakfast includes waffles, cereal, pastries, toast, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk and juice. They have a small gift shop on site, and a small pool, pool always looks very clean!! not a bad hotel for the price.

Can you cut through the parking lots to McDonald's or even S Harbor? Or do you have to walk up Manchester to S Harbor and down?

I found the rooms to be small. If I recall, only double beds, not queens.

I was not able to find a way to cut through, so walked around Manchester... but I was with in-laws that had recent knee replacement so was in scooter and could not go over curbs. Walking may have been easier to cut through.

Even walking around, it is a shorter walk than to places on Katella.

I stayed there in jan/feb and it was maybe 8 to 10 minute walk not bad at all and it was just me and my mom.

We stayed there last December. It was fine. We had a 2 doubles room because we had an ECV and they don't have an elevator. They were supposed to have some 2 queens rooms on the second floor, but we didn't have one. The breakfast there is above par for free breakfasts - the walk wasn't bad, but always felt long after you turned off of Harbor. We cut through Mimi's parking lot with an ECV, but that only saves a few steps. If I stayed there again, I would try crossing Harbor at Manchester and avoiding the crowds by walking on the Disneyland, rather than the hotel side of Harbor.

I've stayed there twice, once for the Disneyland Half Marathon over Labor Day weekend and again during the Tinkerbell Half Marathon.

I would stay there again. The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but I travel solo so that doesn't matter much to me. I enjoy the expanded free breakfast. Waffles and hard boiled eggs are a great way to start the day. The staff has been on par with all other hotels I have been in.

There is a 6' divider wall along their parking lot, making it virtually impossible to cut through to McDonalds or the Fairfield.

If you walk with a purpose you can reach security in 10 minutes. If you walk a little more leisurely, 15 minutes.

I refer to this hotel as the Port Orleans Anaheim, or Quality Inn French Quarter. It has a south eastern US feel. Almost could be plucked out of the book, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

No problem and to make you feel even better there was always a family or two walking in the same direction with us and that was during a really dead off season
