So my sister was accepted for the Spring Advantage 2014 season for QSFB. She's a little apprehensive because of the bad rap that the role gets. Everyone talks about how terrible it is and I'd like to see if there's anyone who has actually worked the role on here that can tell me a little bit about daily duties, hours, etc. I'd love to hear from people who enjoyed their time there, but I'd also like to hear from those who didn't like it and why.

Thanks so much!

The entire program overall is enjoyable, but QSFB is probably one of the least favorite jobs. It doesn't depend on a location you get, but if you don't pull DAK or Epcot, expect to be not getting home till 1 to 3 in the morning. A job is what you make of it. When I was working QSFB busser in DCA, I would always watch the parade, learn the dance, and mess with guests. my co-workers though didnt put the effort into liking the job. so it will all come down to where you are and what resources are available to you to have fun

I work QSFB at the All Star Sports Resort during the Spring 2004 and Summer Alumni 2005 programs and had a blast! Yes it was hard work, and the hours sometimes hard to adjust to (I was on the breakfast shift), but it was such an awesome time in my life. In fact, one of the biggest advantages for me was when I was done with work, I often had time to go to a park for a few hours just because I wanted to go.

I worked qsfb at all star music and loved it. I made lifelong friends :) I did back when wage was $5 hour! I worked bakery most of time. I shadowed in hr on my off days. I only worked overtime once and got a few awards while there. Feel free to email me w any ?s

So glad to read the positive experiences! Thank you! I'm sure she'll have an amazing time! She sent in her acceptance today! :)

My DD just got accepted today (she had phone interview on 9/10) into QSFB and she is soooo excited:) I guess she got selected for QSFB because she has experience - worked at an ice cream shop and pizza restaurant for 5 years!!:cheer2:
