I wanted to get some advice on some restaurants.

What is your take on Coral Reef? I haven't seen too many bad reviews from people on here but have read them elsewhere.

Tusker house for dinner and yak and yeti for lunch (QS) or Yak and Yeti TS and somewhere else for QS lunch?

Is there a quick way to find out who does lunch? I have an available lunch spot on our last day and I know some don't do lunch..

what restaurants must dos are on your list?

Do you know which places have Sorbet (not sherbert) - most if not all is dairy free.

I've eaten at Coral Reef many times. I don't think it's the best restaurant around but it's not the worst either. The experiences here can range from very good to horrible/slow service. The restaurant is noisy. Some of the menu items are very good and some aren't. I think everyone has to decide for themselves.

Both Tusker House and Yak/Yeti are going to provide you with huge portions of food. Huge. I am one of the few people who was not blown away at Yak n Yeti (we've tried it twice) so I actually prefer the food at Tusker. The Yak/Yeti counter service has a pretty limited menu, standard takeout Chinese that isn't all that good, but the portions are unbelievably large. My favorite CS at AK is Flame Tree BBQ.

I've been so many times that I know which restaurants are open for lunch but I would think checking on Allears.net is going to give you that information.

I have no idea about the sorbet.

I don't have many must do restaurants because we like to try everything but our favorites (and the ones we frequent most often) would be V&A, bluezoo, Bistro de Paris.

We enjoy eating at Yak/Yeti...TS.... for lunch, we like the food very much........ Last time we were able to sit by the window on the 2nd floor... nice place to people watch...:3dglasses

What is your take on Coral Reef?

We had lunch once. It was okay. I had the steak, which wasn't that great (though I'm generall not a fan of NY Strip - I think that's what cut it was). DW/DD shared a fish entree that they liked (I think mahi).

It was a cool experience eating there though - having the wall of the aquarium. That is probably worth at least one visit to try it out. We sat on the 2nd or 3rd level - and it was fine seeing the tank from a distance. I don't know if I would have liked to be right up against the glass.

We're big fans of the Coral reef. Been three times. Twice with the same server so that maybe makes a difference.

As for which restaurants do lunch, I found the quickest way was to use the Disney Dining plan pamphlet from the Disney website. It lists which restaurants do what meals. If you're not on the dining plan, this might eliminate a restaurant or two (like rain forest at AK), but it would be close.

Good luck!:goodvibes
