We haven't been to the parks since they introduced mobile ordering at many QS places. I know it varies day to day and also based on the time you go but how long, on average, have you waited for your food once you've hit the "I'm here, prepare my order" button? Thanks!

We've used it multiple times, and rarely have we waited over about 5 minutes once I hit the I'm here button.
Really like the ability to order earlier in the day while waiting in a line some where and skip the ordering ilne at the restaurant.
Hope you have a good experience.

We used it last year and hit the button as we were walking to Satuli Canteen. The food was ready when we got there - about 5 minutes. It was wonderful because when we got there the line was huge to get in and we just walked right in.

True, but mobile ordering for Starbucks has been around for at least a couple years in my area and it's still faster than standing in line.

Does BOG have mobile ordering? I know that you can pre order your breakfast but I have part of my party who will not be sure if they are gonna join us until the night before and then they could put their order in online when they get to the park bc they will be coming straight to the restaurant then

We were in a fairly short line at Columbia Harbour House recently, but I decided to place our order online and got our food before at least several people ahead of us. It was pretty much immediate.

I assume they are included on your reservation? If they are not, they probably won't be dining at BoG.

That said, BoG has pre-ordering, not mobile ordering. You can only place a pre-order at BoG if you have a breakfast or lunch reservation. Also, if they are included on your reservation, you'll have to enter together, because BoG won't allow part of a reservation to enter, then another part of it to enter later. Plus, everyone on a pre-order has to use ONE payment method. No splitting checks on a pre-order at BoG.

We've used it about 10 times now and I would say that most of our wait times were about 5-10 min after we pressed the I'm here button. We have had two longer than usual wait times but I would say that those days we made a bad choice and ate at typical dining times and the parks were really, really crowded on those days. Most times, it's been very fast and we enjoyed not having to wait in a line to order our food. It's also handy if you know where you'll be ordering from that particular day as you can load your order in early and then go about your day and then hit your order button, saves a little time in the parks. We really like it.

yep they are on the reservation but they still dont know if they will get up early and join us ok so we may have to all wait and order the morning of.. or i can order the night before on the pre ordering once I know for sure if they are joining us

Or everyone can pre order and then if they don't come then you can just cancel their orders when you confirm and pay.

The first couple of times I did mobile ordering was at Satuli Canteen last summer. I pushed the button (prepare my order) when I was just outside the restaurant. I walked inside and asked the CM guarding the seating area if I could find a table while I waited for my order. As she moved the rope out of my way, I got the notification that my order was ready! Same thing later that night when I went for dessert.
Last October I tried it again at Satuli Canteen and Flame Tree BBQ. It took quite a bit longer at both, at least 5 minutes. And when I went to pick up my order, they hadn't put my dessert on the tray. When I asked the CM, she looked at me like I was crazy and just walked away. She came back a few seconds later with my dessert and said "You almost forgot this". ?? It was awkward. FT was bad that night, too. Somehow very unorganized.
I will use it again on our trip this summer. Even the 5 minutes was a lot shorter than the regular line.

Most of the time the wait was about 5 minutes or less. I think maybe once or twice the wait was about 5-10 minutes, but these were at peak eating times at packed places.
