QS meal questions

If you use a QS credit for breakfast and say you get a breakfast platter or a breakfast sandwich, do you get "something" that takes the place of the dessert? Also, if we are at our resort, and we use our mug, do we also get a bottle drink with any QS meal? tia

You used to get an extra beverage, but from what I've read that is no more. Not a good use of a CS anymore unless you aren't going to use it anyway.

We prefer to use a snack credit for a pastry or just have breakfast bars/muffins/pop tarts in our room. (although I like to pay oop for a kids mickey waffle meal occasionally...love those little mickey waffles)

Oh, yes you can use your mug and get a bottled drink for later, we do that too..

There is nothing that takes the place of the dessert when you use a dining credit at breakfast - just the entree (or combo platter) and a beverage which is why many feel that using a dining credit for breakfast is not a good value.

They stopped including the second beverage in January of last year.

Desserts are not included with breakfast. We would use a snack credit as our breakfast or pack some breakfast items with us. The general stores also sell boxes of donuts etc that you can purchase with cash.

We have free QS and we may do one or two TS, so we will have a few QS credits left. I wanted to exchange them for snacks, but I heard they don't do that anymore. Guess I could get a kid meal (like uncrustable, grapes, carrots and cookie, with a drink) that could be snacks for later. DH loves uncrustable LOL

Yes, as PP have said you only get an entree and beverage with your QS breakfast-so it is not a great use of a CS.

Yes you can get a bottled beverage as your drink with any QS meal (where bottles are available-i.e. food courts). So you can use your mug to get something to drink with your meal and save the bottled beverage for later. We do this and get juices for later, like Cranberry, Apple, etc.
