QS dp vs paying OOP--am I missing something?

Unless your family are big eaters or need special foods you probably do not need to spend an additional 40 dollars for groceries. We have always had more than enough food on the dining plan. In fact we usually had some left over. I would save that money towards the special snacks (DH's beer) that you mentioned previously.
Good point. I'll keep it in the budget, but we'll see how it goes and hopefully we won't need it. I know we will need some breakfast food though, if nothing else some cereal and fruit.

The other poster hit what we so too. We get fruit for dessert or pastries and have them for breakfast or late evening snacks. Make sure to buy some bottled water or some mix ins if you are planning tap water. We've done this plan the last 2 trips and it fits. We had a 2 yo with us last time and she shared most meals with us. Worked out great.

Just a tip - we were in disney a couple weeks ago on the quick service plan and noticed that all your dining credits are in a " pool " they did not distinguish child or adult meals .
