Wondering what quick service restaurants will be open for dinner during MNSSHP. I remember the last time we were there during the party, that not many restaurants remained open for dinner, and we ended up stuck at Cosmic Rays because pretty much everything else was closed. Anyone know what's open and till what time? I hate to lose park time and miss a parade or fireworks show because I was stuck inside for a table service meal. Thanks in advance!

Best I remember it's Cosmic Rays and even there it's a limited menu you can't get the chicken with veggies and Pecos Bill's.

So if you want more you will have to eat before 7pm.

We always eat at Columbia Harbor House before 6:00 pm when it closes.

A few years ago, I tried to go to Columbia Harbor House around 4:30-ish on a Halloween party day, and it closed already by then! I did get something at Pecos Bills as a consolation, but I was surprised that CHH closed that early.

My family and I usually do fast food during MNSSHP too. Last year we went to Casey's (this was after the 1st parade so it was probably 8:30-9. I remember it was not at all crowded. We have also visited Sleepy Hollow just before fireworks or before the later parade in the past (9:30-10 ish) for a funnel cake or other sweet treat, and even had Pecos Bill's for a burger (I think we ate there about 7:30 in the past).

Last year Pecos Bill's closed at 9 pm during the party. I know lots of the snack-type places like Mrs. Pott's cupboard, sleepy hollow, aloha isle, lunching pad, and auntie gravity's are all open til at least 10 pm.

Last time we went we ended up at Cosmic Rays too - they only had the burger counter open and the place was packed! Definitely wasn't my best Disney QS experience...

This is our first MNSSHP. What we decided to try is to have a big breakfast in the morning (Boma) and an earlier dinner at The Plaza. We thought it was the best way to have 2 good meals and not lose any party time. I figured we could always get a snack later on in the night if we got hungry. Maybe a 5:00 or so ADR in the MK or on the monorail loop might suit you better than losing party time and not having much of a selection.

we ate at Cosmic Rays during the party but later into it. We loved the condiment bar.. we have eaten there before.. its good! The place was near empty. We sat over by the condiment bar, that area was nearly empty. I dont normally like eating during the party b/c it wastes your time but we had a QS we needed to use up.

I'm pretty sure the only place we could get was Cosmic Rays, they had most of the counters open when we went around 6pm but if you want to eat later I'm not so sure.

I ended up making an ADR at Crystal Palace for 430, so this way, we technically aren't missing out on party time, and by the time we get out, it will be 630ish at the latest, and we will have full bellies. We can snack the rest of the night if necessary. I was just dreading another packed night in Cosmic Rays. Thanks everyone for the great suggestions!! :thumbsup2

We went a few years ago and Caseys was still open when the park was closing. We got a snack and sat and waited for the crowds to clear. funny, I will never forget that night because I left my purse in one of the chairs....I didn't realize until we got back to our room and I had no room key!

We will probably be hitting up Pecos Bills earlyish - 4 or 5 - to avoid the crowds.

Although we had a good time - I made the mistake of making an ADR at Kona before the MVMCP last year, and didn't get to MK till 6:30/7PM...

That sounds like a good plan to me. It should give you more than enough time to eat and get on line for a character you must see before the party officially starts. :goodvibes

We are doing the same thing. I have 11:40ADR at LeCellier and 4:20 ADR at Plaza. I figure that good 2 meals should satisfy our hunger and we are more than ready to party. I guess later night when we get hungry, we could snack or something but didn't want the optiont of Cosmic Ray burgers.
