Is there an in-park QS breakfast option besides BOG?

The resort food-court doesn't open for hot food until 7, and I'm really hoping to catch rope-drop just this once, so I'm wanting to be on the way to the park by then.

However, DH really looks forward to a hot eggs-n-bacon type breakfast, so I'm trying to find something besides cinnamon rolls. LOL. We're traveling with our 4-yo, so I'm trying to keep it in-park to minimize the screaming fits and keep it as simple as I can. Worse comes to worst, I guess there's croissant sandwiches at the bakery, right?

There is indeed the Starbucks option (what used to be the bakery), so they have their usual cabinet full of stuff. Might also consider a waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow -- they have a nutella and fruit option, as well as a ham, egg and cheese option. Both are quite tasty. Trying to think of other MK options for QS but mind is blank...likely because there just aren't any....although, if interested, Gaston's offers the pork shank during breakfast hours (not exactly standard breakfast, but goes well with the cinnamon roll!).

Depending on what time rope-drop happens on your day in question (8:00 or 9:00), you might also give some thought to a QS breakfast at one of the monorail resorts. After quick breakfast, you could hop on the monorail or a boat and be at rope drop pretty easily. I realize that doesn't help with the 4-yo issue, but if you treat the monorail as a "ride," then maybe the kid has a pretty good attitude about it and cooperates.

Starbucks sandwiches I think are the only option http://allears.net/dining/menu/main-street-bakery-starbucks/all-day

If rope drop is 9am you should have time for a 7am resort breakfast and be on the bus by 8am ready?

Rope drop is currently scheduled for 9, but my understanding is that disney has historically changed that to 8 am openings as the time gets closer, so I'm planning on the earlier rope drop, just in case. A later one would just be "bonus" sleep in time. Lol.

If it doesn't change, then, yep, we'll probably just chow down at the resort.

I like the idea of a breakfast at a monorail resort, too, but not sure how I could time that to be any better, unless they start serving hot breakfasts earlier than the Riverside Mill?

Little Monster would be fine with it as long as we did it first. There's no way she'd watch rope drop, and get that close to the gates, and then leave for breakfast elsewhere. Lol.

And I think DH would *love* the idea of a pork shank for breakfast. I'll have to mention that!

IMO, the advantage of a monorail resort is that you've gotten the bulk of your travel time out of the way first. If you wait around Riverside until 7, eat breakfast, THEN have to wait for a bus, then ride to MK, that's eating up valuable time.

What I would do is catch the earliest bus you can from POR to MK (I've never tried for one, but there are supposed to be early buses for early park ADRs). Get off the bus at MK and walk over to the Contemporary. Hopefully you're there by 7 am, get breakfast as soon as the QS opens, then walk back to MK. No worries about transportation.

I saw that Casy's corner has a breakfast croissant at breakfast (with ham, egg and cheese, I think).
