QS at AKL

We are thinking of doing a morning at AK and then goong to AKL for lunch and to check out the resort. I don't want to have to make an ADR because we want the option to be more spontaneous this trip. I saw The Mara under AKL's restaurant choices. Would it be a good spot for a quick lunch?

Been awhile but we've always enjoyed our lunches there. It's a food court. Nothing special.
They have the basics and a few more custom items. They even serve Zebra Domes.

The resort is beautiful and lots of places to see the animals. Do your homework before you go so you don't miss anything.

We enjoyed the Mara during our AKL stay. Definitely a bit better than some other QS. We've also been able to get last minute lunch and dinner reservations at Sanaa which may work for you too. Sanaa is without question our favorite one credit table service.

We love the resort, and The Mara is good. If given a choice I would take Sanaa over the Mara, and Sanaa has beautiful views.

We did this on our last trip. We all enjoyed our lunch and the new cup cakes. It was a good opportunity to revisit AKL as we didn't eat at Boma that trip.

Thanks for the replies! I know people love them, but I shy away from Sanaa and Boma. We are not very "food adventurous" and the menus frighten me a bit .
