Any QS restaurants worth going to at the resorts? We are staying at ASM but thought about visiting another resort. We had breakfast at AK last trip and it was fun to see a different resort.

Captain Cooks at the Poly has a great breakfast! Tonga Toast! :)

I second Captain Cook's. I love their barbecue sandwich. You can also get a Dole Whip there, if you are so inclined. We like to do lunch there when we are at MK.

the QS at Port Orleans Riverside was great! We actually chose to eat there one night for dinner (I had planned on us going to DTD and finding a TS). We weren't disappointed in any of the food we had there and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there over the course of the trip. It wasn't 'best food we've had in our lives' but it was certainly good food, in large (definitely possible to share with some things, especially the pastas) portions.

POR was a good one. We really enjoyed it and the pasta is certainly enough to share! We were staying at POP and ended up walking over to AoA a few times as well.

Captain Cook's is neat, although probably better if you're going after the lobby renovations are done, if part of the goal is to enjoy the resort.

I LOVE the breakfast burrito at Pepper Market. I have never gotten anything else there because I get the burrito every time, but other items look tasty, and CSR is a pretty resort.

Have you been to the Boardwalk? You could grab pastries at Boardwalk Bakery on one of your Epcot days. Nice ambiance.

This is good to know, I was worried that QS breakfast was all going to be pastry and cereal and such. I need protein!

If you are going more for the experience of the resort - I would suggest Wilderness Lodge or Grand Floridian. You can take a boat to either location during your Magic Kingdom day (which is pretty neat). If you are going during November or December, I doubly recommend it because those resorts LOOK beautiful at the holidays. I personally think the Wilderness Lodge is little more interesting for the kids to see... there is a little creek that starts in the lobby, Old Faithful erupts, and there is some interesting western items in the lobby (like an Indian headdress). Also, you can explore for hidden mickeys at WL.
The Contemporary is pretty neat for kids to see because the monorail is passing overhead.
I'm not sure I'd recommend the Poly during renovations if its for the experience of the resort.

I liked POR's food court. The make-your-own-pasta was quite nice.
