QOTD - Wednesday 10/31/07

no kiddin! They have radar for when you even venture close to the bathroom! Good gravy, forget even shutting the door and not expecting a knock asking what you are doing????

SO TRUE!!! When my DS was potty training, I went in....in he came too, and sat on his little potty. I said "Mommy needs a little privacy Honey." His answer was "I'm having privacy with you." :)

Gosh they were so cute...wonder what happened? :rotfl2:

I'm telling ya!!!
My DS7 when he was potty training told DH he could only potty w/ mommy in the room... made for some very interesting times when mommy wasn't at the store and he had to go potty... I was talking to him on the cell phone!! I'm sure the men were loving that scene.. "Mommy, I love you!" "Mommy, Daddy said I can't have any candy"...

that is sooo cute!

I survived!!! DD had a blast, you should have seen the flirty look she gave to the first guy that gave her candy. All I heard was num num num!?!?! It was funny!
It got cold though, and windy.

We went to one house..because while i was talking to Grandma... the ambulance came next door again...so I went home and called it a night...
Nothing major... so no worries...

We walked so much my legs are killing me! That was enough walking for the entire year. :lmao: DS LOVED trick-or-treating! He told everyone he saw "Happy Halloween" said only like a 2 year old could followed by "See you tomorrow!" DH told me that DS and I were going to be very busy tomorrow with all the people he told we would see! :lmao: :lmao:

Yep, one house.. most of the neighbors we go to were gone..no lights no cars home... so I promised little one we would go do something special this weekend...

That is so cute, I hope you scrap that one!

DS6 was hollering happy halloween to everyone too. It was cute. DD was getting a lot of attention in her angel costume.

I need to redress them tomorrow, we were late so I didn't get pics.

The only bad thing was just about the time we were walking back to the car, there were some teens that were up to no good. I'm not sure what they were planning but I could just tell that they were brats, complete with sinister giggles. Ahhh teenage boys, I really hope I have taught my kids well.

Remember, DH and I chose the quiet older neighborhood to live in... We were the only family with young kids on the block for 5 years..

Hey, it's even better when they are teenagers all at the same time.. 3 teens and a pre-teen for me... and lucky for me.. MY kids are the good ones.. DH got an email from school today on one of HIS kids.. and of course when he called the EX on it.. she said it was no big deal.. He of course had a fit and told her to make sure boy called.. boy got in trouble and is on thin ice.. at one point during the conversation DH said "I think I hear the ice cracking".. Son called me to find out what dad meant.. "Well, dear do you think it is because you are in trouble and you are about to sink into the abyss of GROUNDED FOR LIFE??????" His response. "Can you help me get out of this".. I gave the teenage laughter of "heee, heee, yeah! NOT!"

nothing more than a fall... nothing serious.. just it takes more than 2 people to get her off the floor.. :(

Of course she said it was no big deal, nothing is a big deal right?

Not Mama Nancy is not bailing boy out of that at all. Poor kid, he got shafted in the bio-mom department didn't he?

*shaking head vigorously up and down *

Sad thing is there has been other issues in the past 2 weeks..and DH is the only one upholding punishment and discussing the issue with him.. the other is wiping it under the mat.. with that said...nothing more we can do besides try to point him into the right direction....

So, on to better subjects...:)
what's your apple for?

DIS Mac users. The thread about the scrapbook thing for iMacs, Suzann made the apple for us. Not that I digi scrap but the apple was cool. I'm determined to convert every PC user to Macs. Let's just say it's my way of slowly taking over the world. MMUUUWWWAAHHHHAAAHHAAA :maleficen

Well, when they get to be almost 20, they go as Hugh Hefner and Kendra (the one with the grill , DS's GF has braces). OMG! Let me tell you, they were funny, but there was nothing of my Lil' Punkin left in that boy.

DS15 was a Dementor, along with his BFF who was an angel. They always Trick~or~Treat at my house last. BFF was all you saw when you went to the door, dressed in white, wings. DS15 disappeared into the night, and must have creeped out a few people, because the bag came from nowhere, and looked like it was floating:scared1:

We decorate big time, with the scary music and everything. The kids love it, but are really glad when it's a mommy person coming to the door, and not a scary dressed person. It's so funny though, the little kids don't even want the candy, they are so interested in looking around the porch :lmao:

I gave out most of my candy, but got a ton back from the neighbors...gee thanks....
