Okay, It's November 1st. We're down to 54 shopping days before Christmas. Have you started? Finished? Or are you a wait until Christmas Eve kind of person (Al la my dad who refuses to buy a Christmas pressie before Christmas Eve)

I actually wrote on my chore list today that I need to start Christmas Lists..
I plan on shopping w/ our extra check this month!! I hope to be done by the end of Nov. The kids have asked for some scrapbooks to be made for certain events so I'm sure there will be some late nights of that shortly...

Some years I am done by now, but not lately.
This year I'm totally copping out and doing gift cards. My nieces are all older preteens and it's harder to buy for them and my parents never like what I get, so cards all around.

My DD is also a December birthday. I haven't started any shopping yet and since I celebrate Hanukkah and it's early this year, I only have 33 days left!

My step-nephews are 13 and 15. They're getting Amex gift cards. My niece is getting a Disney ticket. My DBF, DSis and I are taking her to Disney in January.

Other than that, I haven't a clue. My siblings and I draw names and buy for one person.

Oh my grandfather is done! I got him one of those name history things framed

My bio-dad and adoptive dad are both December birthdays too (14th and 26th respectively)

I'm usually 1/2 done by now but this year I haven't started. With dd 24's birthday in December and with her wedding on 12/29, I'm feeling overwhelmed with the whole gift thing. My side of the family decided not to exchange gifts at all, though I'm buying for my dds and nieces, because of the wedding expenses - traveling, hotel stay...

Honestly, with the wedding on the 29th, Christmas just seems overwhelming!

I'm well on my way. I have all of my friends done. Gotta love the Vera Bradley outlet sale. LOL I've also finished my SIL and my grandma. However I have a big family and we still buy for everyone. So I'm still short 10 christmas gifts and then all my Dec and Jan birthdays. One of my brothers is Dec 1st, DH and a grandma are the 13th, sister is Jan 4th and other brother is Jan 5th. Its a crazy couple of months in my family and with my little one due the end of Jan it will just add to the madness since my mom and other grandma both have Feb birthdays.

Nothing like getting all the gift giving over with at one time.

I need the black friday sales!!!! I'm going out this year w/ DD... She and I went shopping after Christmas one year and had the best time.... we also had a lot of fun while the 5 boys unload the back of the van and both seats that were stuffed w/ goodies and we only spent 200.00!!!!!!

I'm pretty close to done. We don't exchange gifts with friends, so I only have to shop for my 2 DDs (11 and 5). The Nintendo DS that I bought DD#1 back in September is her major gift, and since it was so expensive, she's only getting a few other things. I still have to do stocking stuffers for both kids.

My Disney photo cards from Walgreen's arrived this week and I'll probably address them all over the weekend.

We have done about 1/4 of our shopping but I have not started on DH. I have a list of about 8 things to make and then we have a list of things to buy. We have gifts decided but not purchased for most of our list although we don't exchange the family name 9aunts and uncles and all we each do 1 person) until Thanksgiving Day.

That would be a big no! We have started talking about Christmas lists but that is about it. We asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas tonight at dinner and DD has a list as long as your arm already and DS said "Santa Claus!!!" He's only 2 so he knows that Christmas and Santa go together he just doesn't remember he gets toys in the process. Of course DD helped remind him.

okay, don't shoot me......I'm almost done......just have to get DD the HSM2 dvd when it comes out on 12/11 and my DB and DSIL left to buy for.......made my gift tags (thanks cricut) and personal Xmas cards are almost done (cricut too) have to write my xmas letter still and address all the business cards for DH.

I also got a lot of gift cards and did a bunch of shopping when we went to DLR last month, I have even started wrapping. I know I'm way to organized, but I love having everything done early, so I can relax and enjoy the season.

I've done some and have those presents wrapped. I need to get the rest of it done, (DH and DD) before the beginning of December as I have two trips in December. I'd rather travel than shop, though I could probably pick up a few things where I am going.

Well, I got the boys a Wii and the Wii Play back in July. Does that count?

I need to get a couple small things for the boys, maybe some clothes (they may be after Christmas sales, they are 6 and 4, and they'd rather not open clothes on Christmas Day).

I found 2 small things for DFIL, so that's the hardest gift done. We just got a new van, so that's pretty much DH and my Christmas, and I haven't thought about anything else.

I started today, I got my bio-dad's girlfriend's kids' kids sweat suits (did you follow that?) and some clothes for my newphew at Target.

My DBF, sister and I are taking my 5 year old niece to Disney in January. It's her Christmas president and DBF and I are getting her ticket. I need to come up with a good way to give it to her.
