Well then statistically, 3 of my friends should be mentally well. Yeah, the mentally ill obvioulsy aren't evenly-distributed, because I don't think I have 3 normal friends.

Okay, lets see.....there are 4 of us in this family. DH, DS-8, DS-23 months & Moi!

My DH is Obsessive Compulsive
My DS - 8 is ADHD with some ODD
My DS -23 months, although not officially diagnosed YET, is Obsessive compulsive**
Moi - not officially diagnosed, but I truly believe I'm ADD also.

So...does that mean that all my friends are fine?

(** 23 month old DS has to have ALL doors closed in the house. If there is one open door, he HAS to go shut it. He will leave his favorite toy to go shut whatever door he notices is open.

He's very neat, especially when he eats, & God forbid he gets his hands dirty, he can no longer eat. He starts shaking his hand to get whatever is on his hand OFF.

When he's done playing with his toys, he (almost daily) puts them all back in the toy box!

This is why I have diagnosed him as Obsessive Compulsive but I am not a medical professional.

So if all these qualities are considered Neurological disorders, does that mean we suffer Mental Illness?

Who wants to be my sane friend???
