What time did DCL let you board the ship? In the past it has been about noon, but I hear earlier lately.....

Also, how was your experience in registering kids for Oceaneers in the terminal vs at the clubs? was it more convenient? Quicker?

Thanks

Boarding begins around noon: dont forget that the last disembarking guests arent off the ship until apprx 9.20, so they have to have a "turn around" time to clean/restock, etc. Nat :cool1:

We went last week and got on about 12:30. The line for kids club in the terminal was kind of long and looked like it was slow so we just waited till we were on the ship. We did our Palo ressies first, ate lunch and then went to sign the kids up with no problems. By then our rooms were ready to go into and unpack. Have a great time!!! :sunny:

We arrived at the terminal about 11:30 AM. Boarding started at about 12:15. We went to reserve Palo and then to Parrot Cay for lunch. After lunch, we went right to our cabin and relaxed 'til the drill. It was all seamless and relaxed with no problems. Disney is the greatest for both boarding and disembarkation!!!

we plan on getting to the terminal by 1030, so hopefully there wont be too long a line to register kids for the clubs....

we got there and they started boarding around 12:15. I was in line to register the kids and dh didnt want to wait in the line so he sat at the counter with the kids and had a soda. by the time I was finished 12:30 we walked right on the ship. dh told me not to worry about getting in line and Im so glad he did... It was awesome. oh forgot we got to the port at 11:20 am. :cool1:

Just returned from the Western "Easter" Cruise" we were able to board about 12:30. We chose to register once on the ship for the oceaneers lab. To my knowledge there is no limitation for the club. But we did get our Palo reservations done immediately once we got on the ship. We were also able to change our diner rotation, first time we have done that!

Bording started at 11:30am kids sign up took about 15 min :cool1:

thats more like it...1130 is perfect...I guess it depends on how smoothly debarkation of last cruise went, prep time and the like....on all of our DCL cruises, we've always been able to board at exactly 12...no sooner, no later.....

For the 3/19 Magic, we arrived at the port around 11:45 or 12 and boarding the ship had apparently already begun. There was no line up to board, but there was a huge line to check in. Because we had cruised before we were able to enter the Castaway Club line, which left us with a very short wait. Since there was a line to register for the Club/Lab in the terminal, it only made sense to register there if your group was still waiting to check in. We boarded right away, made Palo reservations, then went to the Lab and had no wait whatsoever to register.
