So, this first one I think would be cheating, but I'm curious if it can be done...

For EMH, CMs look at your room key. Generally, you just flash it at them and they let you through wherever. So, the last two times I've stayed on Disney property and two different locations about a year and 5 months apart, both my room keys where the same logo. When I was automatically checked out, I was allowed to keep my room key, and I have my last one still. If you kept them and next time stayed off property, would you think any CM would notice they are not current? I think the dates might be on your room key (I'm not searching to find out), but most CM's don't even take a close look. I always stay on Disney property, fyi, but I thought of this last night.

This one I'd like to know if I could do to help my family out.

On our next trip to WDW, the first day we are there, my neice has a 9:30am appointment at BBB in Downtown Disney & then we have a 1:30pm Lunch @ ARBH in Epcot. I think we are planning on riding the Mexico and Norway ride before lunch. HOWEVER, I don't think we will be able to ride Test Track or Soarin' before lunch and considering we may not be done with lunch until 2:30-45pm, and this will be Columbus Day (Oct.10th), I really want to get my family FP's to Soarin' and Test Track, in that order. Would the CM's at the Epcot turnstiles let me slide their AP tickets through in the morning (there are 5 of us total and I would be by myself at RD), run to get FP's for Soarin' and Test Track (I know I will have to wait.) I also know I would have to scan all their tickets out in order for my family to get into the park. (Scan them, get FP's, scan them out, my family comes back in) I don't see why we couldn't. I mean, it would be silly to purchase such expensive tickets just for FP's, and I know my family would need their tickets to get into the park, and I know we would be late using the FP's, but a lot of people use them late. I know we only have that day to use them, but we are trying to get an early night for MNSSHP the next day, but we won't even be over to Test Track or Soarin' until at 3pm, and I heard the lines can still be 45 to 55min long that day. Again, I would be their at RD, while the rest of my family is at BBB, and they are fine me missing that if I can get FP's. I really don't want to make my 4yrold neice stand in a 45 or more min wait line for Soarin' if I can get her FP's. I don't think we will need to do this any day except today; do you think CM's would let me?

1) I wouldn't even consider attempting this. How embarrassing would that be to get caught? Right now I'm looking at my room keys from previous trips. I see that the DATES are printed on the top line...easy for a CM to see. Nope I wouldn't try it, based on that fact & the fact that IT'S WRONG.

2) Nope, not a chance. The only way a ticket gets scanned into the park is by the owner.

Sorry to tell you that no you can't do that.

The turnstiles don't allow a ticket to be activated without the person there. The CM isn't allowed to just "do it for you". Against the rules and they can lose their job. I am sure you wouldn't want this.

And as far as checking KTTW cards at EMHs, don't know when you were there but they ARE checking for current cards now.
This year we have had to wait while the CM takes the card and looks it over thoroughlly.

Sorry, they are cracking down on "getting around the rules".

We just got back and used the EMH every night they were offered. CM's checked the hotel cards thoroughly at each and every ride. It wasn't a quick glance. They were turning people away left and right.

Not a snowball's chance in heck would they let you.

You already had this thread closed down on the Theme park board, resurecting a closed thread will get you points.

I don't know what points are, and I posted them separately...two different ones, same Q... b/c I didn't know where to post it.

ok, now I know what points are, but I didn't re-post this post, I posted it twice originally and separately. I didn't know which board to post it on. And I wasn't asking to go around Disney policy, I was asking if CM's let you, which is asking if it's allowed. The first question I knew wasn't allowed and I wouldn't attempt it, but I was wondering how thorough they really are. The second one, I didn't know and it's "NO", so it isn't allowed, which answered my questions.
