Q about applying a code to an existing booking ...

Actually I have two questions ....

1. If I book (a package - accommodation/tickets/DDP) online and then see a discount code that applies to my dates, can I call up and get that code applied to my booking? And if so, how many times can I change the code applying to the booking?

2. Can I get say a room only discount code applied to my holiday, even if I have booked a package? Can it be applied to just the accommodation part of my package?

3. I have looked and there doesnt seem to be anywhere to input these codes on your actual online booking? Do you have to follow the booking process from the "special offers" page so these are automatically applied to your booking? Or do you have to call up to book these codes.

If you are booking online at Disney's website, you don't enter a code. You click on the special offer you are interested in (such as a free dining promotion) and it takes you to the booking screen inclusive of the promotion. You only need a code if you are making a reservation by phone.

There are separate promotional codes for package specials and room only specials. You can't apply a room only code to a package, or a package code to a room only reservation. If you have booked a package, and later they come out with a special ticket promotion or a special dining promotion, you can have those codes applied to your package.

You can only apply one code at a time to either a room only reservation or package reservation - you can't double up. So, for example, if you book a package that gives you 10 days worth of admission for the cost of 5, and then they offer a free dining promotion, you would have to choose which would offer the better savings to you, and then book that one.

You can make as many changes via codes as you want to, but you can't always go back. For example, if they have a code for 40% off that has to be booked by June 15th, and you book it, if you change the reservation to a different code later, you may not be able to get the original discount back if you change your mind after June 15th. So give it some thought if you have a really good rate booked before you make any changes.
