My family is staying at the Poly right now and a cm there told them to look out for two baby alligators, and otter, and a 5 foot snake wrapped around a tree!
They have been talking about on the news like the Today Show & Weather Channel about catching Pythons & I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any in Disney World?
Times I have went I have seen rabbits, ducks, a snake, a cat but I have yet to see any alligators/crocs.
There is NO python problem in Central Florida.
Actually, there was a story on CNN 2 nights ago about the Python problem in FL.
They are "fairly" common at Walt Disney World.I think they are probably seen most in Bay Lake. They create a lot of attention from Guests when spotted.I'm a bit intrigued by the otter sighting. Are otters common in FL?
FL is a very large state, and the python problem is in and around the Everglades, which are about 4 hours south of WDW. There aren't any roaming loose anywhere near WDW, so no reason to worry.![]()
