PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

Are you sure the Studio rooms have a twin pull-down? The twin has definitely replaced the sleeper chair in 1B/2B units. Haven’t seen any definitive evidence of them being added to Studios.
These are from Facebook. Not my photos, credit goes to “eticketplease”. You can see it on the wall and others in the group felt that the television is on top of one. I’m super new to the BLT scene 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I have no original opinions. 🤣🤣🤣

That's a One or Two Bedroom villa. The large photo shows the convertible sofa bed with the full kitchen in the background. Smaller photos are less clear, but appears to be a different angle of 1B/2B with the twin under TV and the dining room table behind.

Off the top of my head, only DVC studios that were renovated to add sleeping capacity to studios was BoardWalk about 8 years ago. More recently, refurbs of Saratoga Springs, Boulder Ridge and Beach Club installed the newer style convertible beds, but they did not expand studios to include the twin.
Beach Club and Boulder Ridge do sleep 5 now though in studios. 1 BR is still 4, though you can bring your own bed to sleep 5 apparently.

You're right. BWV, BCV and BRV were all in that 2016-ish wave where they expanded studio capacity.
Any thoughts on whether the Island Tower studio layout (specifically the kitchenette) design might be put at BLT?

BLT kitchenette is huge with a ton of storage space. However, few (if any) use all that space. Without knocking down one of the kitchenette walls, the space between the bed and couch (now Murphy bed) is going to remain really tight.

It seems like it would work space-wise. But I have no idea if the renovation can/will include removal of that wall and pretty significant re-configuration of the room. Really it's a coin flip.

I don’t think removing the wall is the issue here. The main problem/cost would be in relocating the plumbing for the sink. Not ideal if you’re trying to open up space in the room while also minimizing cost to refurb. Who knows though, maybe bay lake will surprise us!

Personally, I would be very upset if they changed the layout of the kitchenette, I know that some dislike it, but to us, it is the best feature of the room.

I believe this is the first time that Disney transportation will pass this close to open guest bedroom windows. Looking at these photos, I'm starting to think that maybe this wasn't the best plan. All it takes is a couple of guests who want to misbehave.

OK, this might already be discussed somewhere, or perhaps I'm misreading it. But the DVC web site has a message saying the online system will be down 11/19 from midnight - 8amET. Isn't that the morning members (non-Poly owners) can look to book the new Poly Tower rooms up to 7 months out? Seriously? Seems like that morning was going to be messed up enough, and now they're doing updates? That's really poor planning if that's the case.

I presume the update is to allow non-poly owners to book? So should hopefully be live by 8am

I’m no IT expert, but the downtime might be to prepare the website to accommodate PIT reservations.

Not sure why they'd need an outage. Under normal circumstances, booking would open at 6am. Not sure I trust the 8am estimate - I expect any of us looking to check on a reservation will need to stalk the site to see when it's actually live. I could be wrong, but I don't recall outages for previous new resorts, but that could be because I wasn't interested!

So we currently cannot see availability for the PIT rooms online - all bookings being done via MS. I presume they need a pretty big update to allow online access to the inventory.
8am EST is the standard time for booking to open, so hopefully the update will be finished before that and everyone will be happy 😁

You're right - it is 8AM ET. I was thinking 6AM, which would be dining. I should know that by now! Hopefully, back right on time for folks making reservations - any reservations, not just Poly! The message just caught my attention.......
