Question for prospective Theme Park View bookers, what do you actually want from your "Theme Park View" at Island Tower?
- A view of the castle at Magic Kingdom
- A view of more of Magic Kingdom than just the castle
- A view of Magic Kingdom fireworks
- A view of the lake
- A view of not-the-parking-lot-or-resort-grounds
- Please describe
For me, it's 3-5 with a little bit of (1). I'm under no illusions of how far the castle is from Island Tower and how little there is to see of Magic Kingdom.
With my priorities, the 1st floor rooms seem like fair game for TPV (though I would dislike being on the 1st floor of any resort). We've done a NYEE fireworks cruise that parked in front of what is now Island Tower, and it was a great experience and viewpoint, all while being even lower than the 1st floor.
But the endcap rooms facing Grand Flo do not seem like they deserve TPV status, and I would be very disappointed if I were assigned one of those.
