Update! We have some news!!
Since we have heard rumors tomorrow is the day, I started this thread!!!

I will be off to WDW for the week to tour some resorts and the Disney Wish but will update title when it happens!!

Some updated info we have:

$225 base price…no incentives info yet…expected day sales go live…October 1st for current members, October 29th for new

All UYs being reported to start with 2024 points

Owners of PVB points…current or those adding on anre all eligble to book with their PVB points by calling in October 15th.

New members can begin booking November 5th and everyone else November 19th.

So as predicted the tower studio matches longhouse and adds a tp view level that’s higher.

I didn’t see anything too crazy compared to what was anticipated

The premium for 1 bedroom units is quite high.

Always is, it’s ~2x a studio. It’s not out of line with other resorts. Some are not quite 2x but close.

Curious about incentives. I am thinking it’s worth locking in on riveria pricing before the 1st and seeing what the new cycle brings. Might be a hard decision on the 1st

DVC has been using the $23,500 starting figure in correspondence since at least February 2024. Since it's not easily divisible into any of the current prices, it's probably premature to conclude Island Tower will be $235 each.

Today's reminder that reading the DVC tea leaves definitely not an exact science. (With high per-point prices, they hit your wallet once. It's the point charts that hit you for 40+ years! )
