Just got a cold sales call as well from
DVC. A guide I’ve never talked to. It went to VM. But essentially “caching up after the [mass marketing] email…it’s stunning…lots of light wood tones…and an extra bathroom…call me if you have questions.” I think speculation as to how sales are going can now end. If sales were going well, people would be calling them…and the guides would be behind on paperwork. No doubt, there were sales last week…but if Day Seven is cold call time, it’s clearly not hitting targets.
I wonder how long DVC needs to wait to redo incentives?? If done too early, it’ll piss off early buyers. Those buyers need to have rooms all booked I’m putting my money on some surprise “holiday” sale in late November.
