Puzzled about new ticket prices-UPDATE No response from Ticketmania

Ok, now I am really confused. I know that Disney has increased their gate prices and Ticketmania raised their advanced purchase prices. Now I can order advance tickets from the Disney website for way less than Ticketmania. I followed the order through on the Disney website until they added in taxes. Even with Disney's $3 shipping charge, the total for 2 adult and 2 child 5-day parkhoppers is $831.58 to Ticketmania's $870!!

Will Disney soon be raising their advanced ticket prices as well? Should I jump NOW to order our tickets?

Wow! That is an amazing price difference!

Why not e-mail Ticketmania and show them your figures and ask them if you have figured correctly since you can't imagine Disney beating them in price by that margin?

Let us know what you find out.

If they can't do anything for you - then just buy from Disney. Or check out some of the other ticket brokers. Paramount as of last night had 5 day hopper pluses for $238 for adults. Check www.floridaorlandotickets.com too.

Do you belong to AAA? Our MN store here has 2 child and 2 adult 5 day hoppers for$798. (222. and l77.) These are the plain hoppers.

Herc - That sounds like a great price with AAA. I don't currently belong but it may be worth it to join!

Hey Peg, before you consider joining AAA just for hopper passes, call your local office first and see what hoppers they offer. Each local office carries different passes. Our office only carries 4 day hoppers (not plus) for $199 for an adult one. Of course, AAA has a lot of other great benefits too, so you have to check things out.

I'm confused.......

I'd heard that Disney had raised the prices of their 1 day 1 park passes. I haven't heard about all the prices going up.

Have they?? It's only been 9 months (almost) since the last time they raised admission prices, and it had been over 2 years since the previous increase.

Disney raised the gate prices of all their tickets from single day through 7 day PHP's as well as UPH's purchased at the resorts. You can see the new prices (the ones shown in red) on the chart here on Deb's site. Advance purchased tickets did not change nor did AP/PAP's.

Thanks for the clarification!! We were in FL last weekend, and I saw the story about the increase in price on the 1 day passes on the local news. They didn't say anything about the other passes also going up though.

I was in the process of debating about renewing my AP early to guarantee the price or wait and see what happens. It kinda looks like I'm safe for now..........

Boy.... am I glad I bought my tickets ahead of time.

I needed to buy 3, 7 day Hopper's Plus. I bought them at the Disney Store near my home. They give you the advance ticket price & Disney Club discount (we are members of the Disney Club). If you go to the Disney Store you don't have to pay shipping charges like you do buying them over the internet.

Well, Ticketmania has not replied to my e-mail. I'm happy that I decided to order straight from Disney.
