Is it o.k. to put each family member's name on each ticket and to mark on the back somehow to track the days and options we have each used?

Just be sure not to put anything near the magnetic strip that the machines read. You could put people's initials on the front and then a hash mark each time you used it.

I have written all over the back of our old park hoppers with a sharpie pen, names, dates used, and parks. This will be our third trip using this set and it should be interesting if we have to sign the backs of them, since they implemented the new policy in July! I also have photocopied the backs of them and written the dates and parks used. That way we also have backup of ticket numbers if we ever lose them, too.

My girls had to sign the back of their MYW tickets. We got 7 day park hoppers in advance at the disney store and I added the no expiration at the park. When they added the no exp they had my 10yo sign the back of hers but my 8yo didn't have to.

Then the plastic card tickets from the disney store kept jamming in the FP machines while my paper (tyvek) AP worked fine. The CM at TT told us to exchange them for paper and that would sove the problem.

Next day at mgm the plastic tickets worked fine in the turnstyle but not in the FP machine at RnRC so we went to guest relations and had them re-done on paper. This time the CM made both my dd's sign the back in pen so ...

Yes you can sign the back and they will probably ask you to if you haven't so they can do the "ticket tag"!!
