We have a group of 9 going to WL in June. Could 5 fit in one room (2 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 8 and 6) or should our group of 9 split into 3 rooms? I want to go with the 3 rooms but others in my party are saying just 2. I don't want to be crowded. We've been to Disney many times before but have never stayed at WL. Are the rooms similar to AKL? Beach Club?
Thanks!

It is my understanding that in a regular room at WL, you are only allowed 4 people plus 1 infant in a crib. We have 3 kids so we have run into this problem. I believe WL has a junior suite (or it may be called a deluxe room) that would have plenty of room for 5, but I don't know the cost.

I think you will be really crowded. I'm not going to lecture about the rules-there are plenty of people on the board for that. But the idea of a junior suite sounds perfect. We ran into a family in May that had 4 kids, and was staying in a junior suite. They said it was really nice. We actually had two connecting rooms-there were four of us-Myself, DH, DS, and Grandma. We got two rooms because we like having two bathrooms in the morning and it gives us all a little more space.

We felt the WL room was cramped with just the three of us! The WL regular rooms do not contain a daybed like some of the other deluxes ie. - poly, cr, gf. With two queen beds there is just not alot of walking around space left.

I would also recommend the junior suite or get the three rooms total for your party as you stated you thought would be best.

...on the 3 rooms (or the junior suite) because of the "bathroom factor"!!! There are 5 of us, and, this time last year, we stayed in 1 room at the Dolphin. Although, technically, there were enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, it was NUTS when it came time to use the bathroom. We stayed at WL this past summer, and, with 2 rooms, it was HEAVEN!!! The 3 DS's were in one room (w/bunks) and we were in our own room...the privacy was great, and we were all ready for dinner, a park, church, etc. within a reasonable time! (just MHO:rolleyes: )
