Pushy guests

I don't know if this happening to everbody but there has been a lot of people lately sending me trade requests (most of the time people that are still guests, probably mules) and saying stuff like "free stuff, give me your stuff" of course I say no, I'm not exactly running on the rich side, then you get the plz plz stuff. And after I close the window it doesn't stop, they just keep trying within the room. Then they'll add you to friends because, you know, that's going to happen. It's driving me CRAZY. I'm not giving away my bat magic for a t-shirt and a narnia chair. If only they knew how long it took me to come up with that stuff.

Yesterday, this happened to me while wearing my gold dress and gold ears:

Girl: I want your dress
Me: I'm sorry, do you mean me? [there was a girl with a pink dress on and me in the room at once] I'm not trading it, sorry. I don't have an extra.
Girl: No
Girl: GIVE me your dress
Girl: Now
Girl: Give it to me
Me in the game: quickly leaves room and goes elsewhere

Seriously, it's a sad day when you feel like you can't even wear the stuff you worked hard to get. I bet if I walked around in shorts, a tank top, and yellow flip flops with no pins on, no one would bug me. And I specifically have the "Ask before trading" spiel in my profile. Lotta good that does; I get even more trade requests without people first asking me in game than I did before.

My DD was on today and she followed a friend into a guest room. the trade window popped up immediately and my daughter asked if she could trade. I told her to go ahead, but to find out what the girl wanted pefore putting anything up. She asked and the girl said today is my be day. My DD says happy be day and the girl says ears plz. My dd said that her ears weren't for trade and then offered her a narnia lamp as a gift. THe girl said I don't want that I want ears. Again my daughter told her that they were the only ears she had and she wasn't trading them. She kept begging. I told my dd to cancel the trade and leave the room. As she was leaving, the girl called her a geek.

People can be to rude!

For some reason, almost every player sees the name and thinks I'm a guy... I'm actually just a gal who loves Donald Duck, particularly in Philharmagic when he tries his hand at being "Sorcerer Donald." Hence the screenname.

Glad to have the chance to clear that up.

Me: Please do not listen to him. He cant do anything to you. If things go bad, we can always report him.
Girl: I agree
Boy: Report? I didn't do anything.. yet
Me: Its the idea though that you want to take other players stuff
Boy: I didn't do anything!

Boy: But all I wanted was for you to give me all your stuff!
Me: Gets off at Frontierland to sit at Tom Sawyer Island.

I think it is time for a "Do not allow trade requests" option in the game. What do you think? They have something similar in ToonTown with friend requests.

I've already submitted that as a suggestion to the Black Hole, about a month ago.

I want "Ignore trade requests" and "Ignore friend requests" options in the preferences.

That reminds me of this one player who kept begging me to give him my ears...he was offering me his "rare Narnia stuff like lamps!!" I explained to him that those are free, and I had to pay to go to WDW where I made my character. He kept hounding me so I finally just left the room.

I too have submitted the suggestion for no trade request twice now, the most recent being last week. I've mentioned it to several staff as well who have all said they think thats a great idea! Until they decide if they can or will do this I have two words for you.
"Ignore Button"
Its not a permanent ignore, but it does help.

These are great options to have in this game. Especially for little kids.

Hopefully, this is something that they are working on implementing.
Maybe, I should send a request for these to the black hole myself.


I've had so many pushy people sending trade requests without asking first. When I ask what they are wanting, they say, "I'll tell you in the trade" or "trade plz". I'll just say I won't trade unless I know what they want. Some will just say nvm or I want your ears or your dress. I'll just say they're not for trade. Then of course, they're like plz, plz, plz. And keep begging and begging. They just won't accept no for an answer.

Others have said, give me or I report. I'll just tell them, I have a screenshot of what you said and I'll report you for trying to scam me. They usually back down after that. Or say sorry or I didn't mean it. I don't deal with bullys. And that's exactly what some of these kids are.

I have noticed a lot more trade requests within 1 second of entering a room. When I go on my NPC credit run, there have been times I have not even been able to click on the NPC before the trade request pops up. They wouldnt even have had time to read my signature. A few of the times they dont even talk to you in trade, they just throw some random junk in the trade window

This type of behavior could be a small kid. It is ostensibly a kid's game so you have to be patient with some of them. (I know not all of them are kids.) Still, that's all the more reason to have a "Don't allow trade requests" option.
