Pushing & Shoving

You just need to try and stay calm as you getting into a blazing row or possibly a fight will upset your child even more. I do try to block my child from the pushing by getting between them and the pusher so its only me who gets shoved.

Now they are doing ques for meet and greets so it should be much better.

The only place you will encounter this is at the DLH Descent of the Stairs meet and greets that happen at 4pm Thursday - Sunday. They are not organised and can get heavy! Just bide your time and kerp calm, speak clearly to the person shoving if it occurs and usually the Character will recognise you are being pushed and call you asap.
My advice is to make sure you get a place for the Parade/Dreams and stay there. Sit down, (back from the rope for the Parade) and put a bag infront of you. You may find people push when the music starts but stand your ground. I'm all for kids seeing Parades from the front, but you will find a parent who uses their child to push in front of you and tries to join them. I'm afraid I've put my own kids first and turned said child away, stood close to my own and taken abuse from certain ethnic groups who think they have a right to claim your spot two minutes after the music has started! (Though I get an Easy Access Pass now so no longer have this problem thank goodness!!)
Don't worry though, it's not as common as it once was so just enjoy your holiday :-)
