hi again , i was also wondering how those of you who have toddlers/babies got on with taking your buggys to DLP? we will definatley need ours as our 2 year old will be like a snail walking!

are you aloud to take it on the Eurostar?
is there easy storage for it on the train?

any other tips for taking a 2yr old would be much appreciated:)

Yes you are allowed to take them on the train with you.

As for ease of storage, it kind of depends on the size of the push chair, where you get on the train etc...

There's usually plenty of space at the ends of the carriages or potentially above the seats if the push chair is small enough (can't think if they'd fit there or not).

Failing that, you can also rent them at the parks for a fairly small fee (plus a refundable deposit if you wish to take it out of the parks).

Ours is a Maclaren Quest and it can fit on the rack/storage bit above our seats. If there's space in the luggage bit, you can usually put them there but so far, when we've travelled, we've had to move our buggy from the luggage bit to put it above our heads to make room for other bags.

we debated not taking one this year and hiring, but it's so much easier to have your own and the hired ones don't look that comfortable if your little one does need a quick nap.One person went past with one and it had such a squeak to it -would have driven me mad all day!!!

one tip tho is to tie something around the handle (bright ribbon for example) so that you can easily find your buggy when it's amongst another 20 outside a ride!!
