Like previously said, for now you'll just have to buy one. We had our bands ordered and they arrived about a week or so ago. Then I found out that purple was out, so I quick bought one for my daughter. (We ALL wanted the purple, but I'm getting one to surprise her! It's arriving any day now!)
Can't wait!

I imagine it would be a while since they started mailing matching luggage tags with them.

They would hafta make a special purple tag. Wonder what character they'd use. Clarabelle? Has she been in any of the new shorts?

That's what I'm doing for our upcoming trip! I was all good with my blue one from last year... but then I saw the luggage tags, so I had to order a new red magic band.

When you use nail polish, does it peel off? I've been too scared to try it since I imagine being halfway through my trip and dealing with flaking polish.

We've used polish on many bands. I use a few coats of clear polish over top and have had no flaking.

The new Haunted Mansion band is purple and glorious!! I'm still bummed that I lost my original gray HM band, but I kinda upgraded by losing my old gray HM band.

Gray HM Bands have been at Premium Outlet store in Dec and end of January. They were $9.99.

Pretty sure purple were for sale in the parks, you did not have to customize.

FYI our luggage tags for our December trip did not match our customized magic bands. Bee got the gray Mickey and Minnie bands, but our magic bands were 3 reds a blue and a yellow.

I bought a purple one in January only because I have three more chances to wear it in the next year. I agree with the others that they won't be offering it for free anytime soon.

The luggage tags look great. We collect our MBs on check in since we are from the UK. Is there any way for us to get the luggage tags?? Thanks

I doubt that purple MBs will be offered as part of the MDE MBs. Why? Disney knows that many, many people will choose that one. So, why give it away free if you can charge for it?
I have a wonderful purple HM themed MB....painted a grey MB with purple nail polish, then got a HM themed overlay. Love it.
