Purple Doors! Hur-ray!

Queue of 69, over one hour wait, got in the room, waited through the game ahead of me, got into the game, when my hosted game began, vmk crashed! Signed back in, queue of 50, waited an hour, got in room, got in game, lost Hit the Floor Lose the Door in record time. When I checked for the room in the guest rooms list, it was gone for the night.

So I worked on my trade room and, lo and behold, in comes a trader. I just traded for the purple doors with ease! All that waiting for nothing, but it was a fun wait. All the anticipation, and in the room, your palms are sweating, sitting uncomfortably, and then lose, lol.

So now I won pink in host game, they blunder and give pink freely, now I have purple, what's next! I'm just waiting for it to go on sale in the emporium for 500 creds. LOL, i hope not though. Last to collect is gold, which in my case is guaranteed since I live close to DLR.

But I'm so happy I have purple, that's all I cared about, getting all of them so that I'd have the rarest no matter which it turns out to be.

PS: Trading "Monsters Inc Teleporter Purple" for Inferno. Just one door, to get the other, green flips please. LOL, j/k, I'm not that dumb. Purple is too cool to trade! (People mistake it for blue, and thank god for a manly color).

Well, we were a bit luckier in my house last night, for a change.

1. I made it into the host game.
2. I did not crash
3. I won!
4. My son made it into the host game about 50 people behind me
5. he did not crash
6. He won!

So two sets of purple doors for us.... of course, I would have preferred to have that luck when trying for inferno

I was in a host game, I can't remember the name, it has flying carpet chairs that you race up and down. Well I won my race but lost the play off race
So no purple doors for me. Maybe next time.

Thanks lovethattink, yes it kinda "made up" for the other night (which I am still steaming about by the way).

I also wanted to add that Host Annie is absolutely fabulous! A real nice personable host who seems to really care about the players. I was impressed that she told a few of the players that she would look into their problems for them. The "other" Hosts have usually given players the canned answer of "Use Contact Us on the Home Page", even when they already have tried that.

Woot!! I just won purple doors too. But sadly I was racing with fellow DIS'rs DisAeryn and Mickeysfriend.

The final race I was with Mickeysfriend. It was really close. Good Game Mickeysfriend!

I have found Host Annie to be really nice...hope that the person who took advantage of you steps up and makes it right...

My usual luck prevailed today (not!)...I actually got IN VMK_Phinney's room, was ready to be the next group to play, and I disconnected!!!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!
