Purging the Board

Pardon my "newbie" ignorance but I wasn't sure where else to ask this question.

I've noticed that the DisBoard is nearing 64,000 members. Surely there aren't 64,000 active participants on the board; so that lead me to this question:

How often, if at all, is the board purged of old, inactive members?

Yes, dad, ALL are active.

There was a time when we had access to the member list and there were lots of members who signed up, but never posted, or maybe posted 3 or 4 times, then up and left years ago. I wouldn't count them as active members.

But what do I know.

I remember early last year when the board hit 50,000!

I think I was somewhere around 45,000!
