Pure bred retrievers that don't retrieve.... anybody else have one?

Our first golden liked to go get the ball, then play "you can't get me" with it. The second golden will fetch sometimes, but it's not his favorite game. Our new baby golden loves to fetch!

However his FAVORITE thing to do is inhale socks. He's only 5 months old and had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove a man's dress sock from his bowel. Then a week ago he threw up one of the kids tube socks. That's the second time he's tried the kids socks and found they don't agree with him...silly dog.
