Purchasing tickets through discount sites

I have several options for discounts, and I'm getting confused with this will call issue. Many places are asking for a will call name and date. I'm not gonna pick up actual tickets. Also, I'm understanding that multi day tickets do not expire, but on expedia/orbitz for example, they are saying they expire 12/31/17. I'm thinking that it isn't true, but can anyone verify?

What discount site did you use, and did you get individual wdw e tickets, or did you get one "Disney Reservation number" to enter on the disney site?

I would appreciate to hear how the ordering and redemption process happened.

Thank you!

Same as PP. I ordered from Under Cover Tourist. I received actual tickets in the mail. I entered the ticket number in my MDE account and it was all set to go

Ordered mine yesterday from orlandofuntickets. Got email confirmation. Within 24 hrs supposed to receive e-tickets. Will post when they are received and entered on MDE

Thanks all. I was actually trying to learn how the actual process (eg: did you get an email with x# of individual confirmation numbers or a single Confirmation # for all of them, or did you actually have to go pick up tickets at WDW) of getting the tickets and adding them to the account took place, but I placed an order with Undercover tourist (had to jump after news up price hike and expiring tickets), so now I know.

We had an option to purchase discount tickets through work, and the site there insisted they had to be actually will called on a specific date you choose. I suspected the tickets were really e-tickets, but calling them produced no information because they did not know anything. So I discovered many other discount sites are all using this "will call" system. So I purchased them from Undercover Tourist because they were one of the only sites that admitted you get e tickets.

Turns out, I was right, and you do get a single confirmation number that is used on the disney site to link however many tickets you purchase. Its a shame all these sites keep saying you have to will call them when you don't. They've got to know people come from out of the area and can't just drive down to WDW to pick up tickets. And you certainly can't wait until day of entry because then you wouldnt have the fastpass+. So they need to be more descriptive and say that you DON'T have to will call them and you CAN enter them on the site.

Ordered mine from Parksavers last Wednesday and got my confirmation numbers yesterday. Added them to my magic bands today with no problems. Very easy.

I know for certain ParkSavers does tell you the exact process on when you'll get your ticket codes emailed.

Last year I ordered from UT, chose ship to home, received a confirmation email/number almost immediately, and received actual ticket media at my home. A couple of days ago, I entered the codes on the back of them into my MDE account and we're all set for our summer trip.

I ordered another set of tickets last night, for a future trip. I will get the ticket media in the mail again and hold them until the trip draws nearer and plans are finalized. I like having the actual ticket instead of emailed #s.

Is it the Voucher # listed under the scan bar that you enter?
When I ordered from Southwest Vacations it was really simple. This time I ordered form Parksavers and I am getting an error when I enter the Voucher # listed? It also shows it is from Expedia.

The SW vouchers and the Park Savers vouchers are both issued via Expedia. Are you entering the # in the MagicBands and Cards area or though the Ticket area of MDE? Try both.

If you are having difficulty linking the voucher #, you'll need to give Park Savers a call.

PS makes it very clear which number you add to MDE. They specifically spell out "Your Confirmation number is", it's listed as Step 2 on the instruction sheet. There's no barcode on any of mine
The number starts with ANGR (at least every one of our tickets has)

ETA - if you are using the sheet with the barcode, it's the wrong number.

I order from UT and do e-tickets. Having mailed tickets sent is a waste of time and resources. It's very easy to associate the tickets with your MDE account.

You get one number, you enter it, and then MDE gives you a list of the tickets which you associate with the appropriate family members in your MDE account. It couldn't be easier.

When I ordered multiple tickets from SW vacations in one order, I got 1 reservation number (also contains a barcode for it, which would be used if you wanted to get a physical ticket from Will Call. But that isn't necessary).

When entering it into MDE, like rg35 said, it gives you a list of all the tickets from that order and lets you associate each to a person on your Friends & Family list.

I ordered 4 tickets from Undercover Tourist last weekend, chose E-tickets, and within a few minutes received the voucher with one reservation number. I entered that into MDE, as mentioned above by rg35 and ThornXBL, and just had to assign a ticket to each family member.

Last year I ordered from Park Savers and the process was pretty much the same, except that it took about 2-3 days to get the confirmation number.

I guess I need to be patient Sunday will be 5 days from when I ordered. I was just so excited to get it entered so when it didn't work I got worried as I have never ordered from Parksavers.

Same experience for us this year from UT. I used to always get the physical ticket but now with the E ticket and the MDE it's so easy to link it all together. One number, input to MDE, tell who each ticket belongs to, go have fun!!! Couldn't be any easier.

But I won't judge those that still want the actual ticket. It's a nice little keepsake!!!

Somewhat related - a few months ago I saw that Parksavers had the best deal, but with the new ticket price increase, is that still the best deal for a MYW ticket?

The best deal varies by what ticket you want. Use the Touring Plans Ticket Finder
