Purchasing Tickets (Annual Passes) From a Local Disney Store

I'm thinking of purchasing annual passes from a local Disney Store. If I buy online through
MyDisneyExperience, you can only use 2 forms of payment. Since I want to use $1600 in gift cards (free gas), I'd prefer not to do this.

My question is, if I purchase our annual passes at The Disney Store near me, will I have any problem
linking them to MyDisneyExperience. I want to make sure next month at 90 days out, I can book
our fastpasses -- I surely don't want any unexpected surprises!

1. That's no longer a problem.
You can now merge as many Disney gift cards as you like into one large-amount gift card on the site www.disneygiftcard.com.

2. Guests can link tickets or APs, by number, into their MDE accounts.
3. FP+ booking is 60 days in advance for on-site guests, 30 days if you're staying off site.
4. As to whether some glitch may or may not happen, well...

You can link them to MDE.

You can't book fastpasses at 90 days out. You can book at 60 days out if you're staying onsite and 30 days out if you're staying off site.

Robo is right. You can merge multiple gift cards onto one big one, which will help greatly with this scenario if you would rather purchase online. But I believe there is a limit of $1000 per gift card. What we did was purchase gift cards from Sams, then use the website to merge everything onto 2 $800 gift cards. I then purchased our APs online in two separate transactions, using one of the gift cards as payment. Worked perfectly.

Yep, any Disney gift card. I have used it for Disney gift cards purchased from Sams and from Target. Origin of the gift card does not matter as long as it's a Disney gift card.
