Can you purchase gcv direct? If so, at what cost? The resale cost of gcv is so high. Is it still worth it to buy resale in this case?

But I know there is a VERY long wait list But a few weeks ago there was a post that one of the CM at Disney said to the OP would be better off buying resale.. The CM told the poster, The waitlist for VGC was Huge. And that some large point contracts were coming up.. That were willing to take any UY.. Hope this helps

It is usually quicker to buy VgC resale, Disney have a very long wait list

I just got some points direct, but it took nearly a year on the waitlist to do it. I got on the list the end of March 2013 and got the call a couple of weeks ago that I could get them. Got 100 points, Sept use year to add to the 100 points I had for GCV.

Apparently not. We got on the WL in March 2013. In May, we bought points with the same UY through resale. We bought more points in February when our WL came through. -- Suzanne

Disney only seems to exercise ROFR on loaded contracts. Find smoking missing a few points and it will probably go through.
