Purchasing FW Cabins - direct or resale?

Fitness Center, Table Service Restaurant
Poly did not have a fitness center until this year - and they have a table service restaurant with hoop de

And at the risk of being pedantic- most don’t have restaurants as they are not a part of DVC nor are they guaranteed to remain.

Think of Boardwalk

Other than towel service at the pool , they have the same/similar amenities to a resort like OKW. Unless I am missing a perk ?
@Fantasmic87 pointed out the cabins are lacking the deluxe amenities.

I replied to your quote about the missing amenities mentioning the Fitness center and a Table Service restaurant.

You are correct that Poly did not have its own fitness center but it was shared with VGF and a quick walk over but all other Deluxe/DVC have a fitness center.
I do believe the Fitness center at WL is available for use but that does not seem convenient esp with the walking path shut down.

Deluxe/DVC also all have on site Table Service Restaurants including Boardwalk which has 3 with the Cake Bake Shop, Flying Fish and Tratoria.

I don't consider Hoop-De-Doo Revue a table service location since it is a dinner show but others may.

None of the restaurants on the boardwalk or are a part of the DVC. They could all be closed and you have no recourse.

Things inside of DVC close as well--such as the spa at SSR. Having them inside of DVC doesn't protect them. But in all likelihood, there will always be some table service options in the Boardwalk area.

DVC are standalone deluxe and apart of other deluxe resorts. Table Service restaurants will not being leaving those properties like they did for FT. Wilderness when they converted its Table Service, Trails End to a Quick Service.

Says ? They could if they wanted to it’s specific in our contract that they are not linked.

As for buying resale, DVC hasn’t sold many contracts. I haven’t heard of any for sale yet, but I haven’t really looked. I would think resale contracts will be rare till they sell a decent amount. Plus an owner would be taking a huge loss by reselling it so soon. Since there is little demand for these contracts.
