Hi there! We are planning to fly to MCO from the NYC/Philly area around
12/23/2011. I was curious if anyone on here knew when the best prices come out historically? I know in general the prices have increased lately, just looking for a "window" to start searching. Thanks!

Most of the Legacy (United, Delta, etc.) carriers are booking to about the end of November right now, so in a month or so your dates will show up in the system. Others, like Southwest come out way (6 months or so?) later.:)

Best prices? I can't find any rhyme or reason these days. My only rule is: If I see a fare that I can live with, I grab it and never look back.

Ugh I am going through this now. Just found direct flights from BDL to MCO for our dates on Delta but I don't want to pay the extra money for 4 suitcases round trip and really want to fly Southwest. I think if I book Delta they are non-refundable, whereas if I can wait for Southwest if our dates change (which they probably will!) I can change my tickets with no penalty.
