Purchasing DVC points???

I've read references that it it is possible to purchase DVC points from current owners. How does this work and is there a resource to contact regarding availability??

There is a DVC Rent/Trade board here on DIS.

If you are looking to rent points for a trip do the rent/trade board otherwise if your looking to purchase you need to visit one of the timeshare sites.
