I have been looking at ebay tickets for sale and was wondering if anyone has done this before and what to look out for.

Thanks,

Tina

I wouldn't do that if they are hopper passes. Those are old passes, and there is no way to know if they have the remaining days they say they do. We always buy the annual passes, but when we have guests with us, we will by Magic Your way passes before time to get the few dollars off. We usually get hoppers but do not do non-expiring passes.

Also if they are passes that have been used recently they are tied to someone's finger scan and you will not be able to get through the gate. My granddaughter accidently picked up her mother's pass when we went to TL one trip and they wouldn't let her in because of the finger thing. Fortunately I have some left over passes with water park days from before the finger scan and was able to use one of those for her. It may actually have been one of her passes from when we went in the 90's and she was 12 or 13.

Definitely stay away from eBay passes. There is no way to really know if they are valid until you get to WDW. As someone else mentioned, even if they are valid you may not be able to use them because of the biometric finger-scan system. I just wouldn't chance it.
