Purchasing Disney gift cards online?

Has anyone ever purchase Disney gift cards online and had them shipped to a Canadian address?

I was going to - until I saw that shipping costs were $25 - so now we are goign to wait till we get to the park to buy them for the kids instead.

Actually, I emailed disneystore.com and they replied with the following,


Thank you for the opportunity to assist you today.

Regrettably, gift cards purchased from DisneyStore.com cannot be shipped
internationally. I greatly apologize for the inconvenience.

My father has done this twice, bought Disney gift cards for us as a gift and had them shipped to our home. He's in Ontario and we are in BC.

If you are near a border you can purchase them at Walgreens. That is where we got our last ones. We are doing this again this weekend! Hope this helps!
