Purchasing DDE card at Guest Services

Can anyone tell me if they have been able to purchase the DDE at guest services at the parks as stated on Allears and, if so, how early will GS be open. We have a 8:05 ADR at Magic Kingdom on our first morning (getting in late the night before) so would like to be able to purchase and use the DDE card before our breakfast. Is this going to be possible or do we just accept that there will be no discount for us on this first meal

Yes, you can purchase them there. I bought mine there last Friday night at DTD Guest Services. They are open until atleast 11:30. They are at all the Guest Services and it didn't take a minute to purchase it.

Oh, they are now only $60 instead of $65.

According to Allearsnet, Guest Relations opens an hour before the park does. Since you have almost 3 months until your trip, you might want to order the card by phone and have it before you leave. That way, you'll be able to take advantage of the discount for all of your meals. My experience has been that it takes 2-3 weeks to receive the card once it's been ordered.

For more than two months it is possible to get the DDE (including renewals) at all park and DTD Guest Relations Offices. It is issued on the spot. It uses a special card stock; it is the same stock as tickets but the back side has the same artwork as on the plastic cards.

There is no longer any need to order it in advance, and the expiration will still be at least 12 months from date of purchase.
